INTRODUCTION Problem-solving is said to be the process of research solution to a challenging or complex issues that are arises in an organisation. It can happens among employees and employers, workmen and top authority etc. problem are at the middle of what so many people does at workplace in regular days. The project consist of various issues and its effective use of communication skills that impact external environment. Some explanation is provided through using charts and measures of central tendency (Burrows, Macdonald and Wright, 2013). Other part of the project comprises of list of eventthat are help to overcome problems that are faced by employees at the workplace and a job letter to an HR of a MNC. At last a proper relationship development among employees at the work place is discussed. PART 1 1.1 Stages by which problems can be identified Problem solving can be more effective if proper planning is done prior any issues arises. Although it is an intellectual task that would help in find out and analysing main reason of the cause that an employee's is facing at the workplace. The main objectives of the manager is to remove the obstacle those are making more impact on internal and external part of the concern department. Regarding this some of them are psychological, physiological and disabled issues. Under the psychological process problems can be solved through puzzles and number games. Process of problems solving: Determination of various key problems:It can said to be the initial stages of the process.Under the company TESCO management is trying to overcome issues through regularidentificationofeachandeveryemployeesreactionandthereworking capabilities (Chanda, 2013). It can be done at internal or external level of the department because most of issues are arises at operational level were number of employees are working under the guidelines of a leader. Development of plan and guidance to utilise resources:Under this stages certain plan and strategies are being develop in order to make them more appropriate to complete there work according to the guidelines. Role of manager is to plan in relation to research issues that are making more impact on the employees as well as an organisation. 1
Resources of the company can be utilise in more effective manner so that chance of risk can be minimised. Implementation stages:In this phase management need to summarise all the ideas to overcome the problems and implement it in order to see the reaction of the people whether it works according to the plan. Analysis the outcomes:At last the understanding of the problems can be analysis according to the plan that it is going in right direction (Van, MerriëNboer, 2013). 1.2 Process of critical thinking and innovation In an organisation the most critical aspect that employees need to posses is there attitude and there thinking capabilities in order to make effective performance at the workplace. It will be helpful in motivating the employees and at the same time their problems cab be handled in more effective manner. There are various steps that are involve regarding critical thinking and innovation: Psychological feature: It can said to be that ability which a person carries in order to achievetheorganisationsaimsandobjectives.Knowledgeandexperienceofan employeescan help them to make them strong enough to face the problems by themselves. Effective solution: The manager need to develop there thinking capabilities in such a way that they can make effective solution by using innovation ideas in an organisation. It required new strategies and plan in specific manner (Problem Solving and Analytical Skills.2013). Evaluation and use of application: Under this process manager analysis that whether the decision taken in order to solve the grievances of the employees can generated profit in coming future. Some of them are: Quality principles: It an be the most important principles use by TESCO in order to overcome barriers that are arises during communication of information among each other. Informality: Most of the organisation is using formal system of communication that happen to slow the growth possibilities and also delay to achieve there goals in right time. So there have to be proper informality among communication system. Clear and simple: If an information is unclear it can create wrong message to an individual as well as an organization. The chance of conflict can be more. So it should be more clear and simple to understand. 3
PART 3 3.1 Comparison among qualitative and quantitative data Both Qualitative and quantitative are useful method use by an organisation in order to provide completed image of TESCO so as to make effective decision in order to overcome problem: Qualitative data:It is said to be that techniques which is use in order to collect information that are based on research, questionnaire and other ways (Depaepe, De Corte and Verschaffel, 2010). Some of the key behaviour are: Effective cooperation and coordination: In any organisation like TESCO the main role of an employees is to develop effective cooperation system at workplace. The goals can easily be achieved if there is a proper coordination between each other. Positiveness in attitude and style: In order to solve various problems at workplace they need to carry positive attitude that would increase the quality and working capacity of them. Effective working environment: One thing that is very common in employees that they need proper and peaceful environment to work. 5.2 Impact of Environment on employee's performance Performance is that every company need to focuses in their premises. So if they are getting more effective environment they can work according to the efficiency more positive results can be drawn. It is another important tool use by the company in order to retain them for long period of time (Oradee, 2012). In TESCO they are providing regular interactive session among new and old employees by organising a game so that they can know each and every people in well effective manner. CONCLUSION From mentioned project assignment it has been concluded that problem-solving is the major concern for every department as it need to manage there work according to the planning so that more effective results can be made. In consist of various process and PEST analysis to overcome problems that are arise among employees at the workplace. In other part of the project explained about factors that would affect business environment and other key behaviours that an employees carries during there work. Overall report is based on solving issues and make harmonious relationship among employees and organisation in order to get more positive results. 8
