It is one ofreputed movie theatre chain of America and is owned by Dalian Wanda Group. One of theprimary reasons to choose this particular theatre chain is the fact that the company is the largestshareholder of the American theatre market ahead of the other top theatre chains in the country.The key competitors of the company that are selected for creating benchmark areCinemark Holdings and Regional Entertainment Group. The Cinemark Holdings, Inc. wasselected as a major competitor for creating the benchmark because it is one of the top theatrechains in America and fighting for the largest share of the pie when it comes to theatre market inAmerica (Mokhtar et al., 2016). The company is the prime competitor of the top spot inAmerican theatre market with AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. The other competitor that havebeen selected for benchmarking is Regional entertainment Group.
