In theprocess of strategic review, directors and board members have to review the present and futureopportunities for the companies. In this process, they have the responsibility to determine theexternal and internal risk factors of the company. They need to determine on the weaknesses ofthe companies. After that, based on this overall review, they need to select the most appropriatestrategic option for the company along with the means to implement them. In this process, theyneed to ensure that the organizational structure and capability are appropriate for theimplementation of these strategies (Wheelen and Hunger 2017).Best practice refers to those specific methods or techniques that have been consistent tofetch good results for the business organizations. Thus, these practices can be used as benchmarkpractices (Rosenthal and Panel 2012).Answer to Question 2The pros and cons are discussed below:Pros: External facilitator can challenge the thinking process of the staffs of Vicsport and thisprocess can help the staffs to focus on to achieve the organizational objectives. Externalfacilitators make it sure that everyone in the organization contributes to achieve theorganizational target. Most importantly, they help in the development of effective businessstrategies (Bens 2012).
