Introduction
Business management is the managerial process of organizing, coordinating and implementing
business activities and strategies. Professional skills are very essential in the management of any
business. These skills are the abilities which affects the performance of an individual at workplace.
Some example of professional skills are: communication, management, leadership, creativity, etc.

Challenges in studying business management and
blooming in professional practice
Selecting business management for building your
career in it has its own benefits after completing the
graduation or post graduation such as: potential of
high income, ready job market and others. But
students also have to face challenges during study
of business management. Some of the major
challenges which students are facing are as follows:
• Connecting with new people
• Managing the time
• Adjusting and balancing

Why development of efficient academic skills is important
As we know that this skills are developed during
academics of an individual. It is a need of everyone to
develop their basic skills, as it has importance in
various fields. Here, some of the major importance of
academic skills are given below:

important
These skills are needed to be developed as they have a
basic importance for a job seeker as it is important to
have relevant skills to got the desired job

Skills which I want to develop How can I develop that skills? Judgement Criteria Time Period
Public Speaking I will ask to my mentor to arrange weekly two
classes for public speaking and provide us with
different topics for speaking.
I can make comparison from my past performance. My mentor
will also tell me about what progress do I have after each lecture
on the basis of which I'll evaluate my development.
Three months.
Presenting I will ask to my mentor to give us more
presentations than assignments so that I can make
and prepare. I will ask her to take at-least two to
three presentation classes so that I gradually learn
how to present confidently.
After each presentation I ask about my mistakes to my mentor
then I note it down and when I get desired knowledge I will make
comparison and evaluation from previous performances.
Two months.

Summary
From this assessment it can be concluded that what are the major challenges are there during
studying business management and blooming in professional practice, what are academic and
professional skill and how they are important for those who are looking their career in business
management.
