This reports talks about the analysis of the perspectives of the following such as the workers of the organisation, health and safety officers, CEO of Amazon in respect to business ethics is considered. This is with the view that the issues related to unacceptable working conditions and careless behaviour with employees can be managed with the help of ethical practices. INTRODUCTION Business ethics is study of the policies and practices of the business for various controversial issues such as corporate governance, discriminationetc. It is related with the implementation of various business policies and practices in context of various controversial matters. It establishes various moral rules for the businesses so that they can govern their activities and can take better decisions for satisfying the expectations of customers, shareholders and clients (Crane, 2019). It is crucial for the business is to maintain their ethical practices as with the help of this they can ensure better reputation of the organisation along with efficiency in managing financial and legal issues. Also it enables them to provide benefit to each and everyone who is associated with the organisation. Ethical behaviour of the organisation the profitability as with these business relations can be improved and productivity of the employees can be enhanced. This report is based on the case study of Amazon which has been facing an issue related to the health and safety of their employees as due to tremendous pressure on the employees for achieving their targets the number of accidents within the organisation has increased which adversely affect the reputation of the company as well as the motivation level of the employees. This is due to the dangerous working conditions for the employees along with
lack of safety measures due to which the number of accidents in the warehouse of Amazon is more than Tesco whose warehouse is located nearby. This report is focussing upon the consideration for the organisation towards the importance of ethics from the perspectives of different people such as customers, employees, CEO and the politicians. In this report the role of ethics will be considered in context of managing such incidents and improving the working conditions for the employees. On the basis of the analysis of different aspects in the report various recommendations are provided to the organisation. ANALYSIS For achieving the objectives of the organisation it is important that they emphasis better workforce as with the help of their contribution the company can ensure their success. It can be done with better working conditions to the employees and effective management of the work pressure. The better working conditions reduce the chances of injuries and incidents for the employees along with better treatment with the employees (Mitonga-Monga, Flotman and Cilliers, 2016). To ensure this the organisation need to lay their emphasis on the formulation of various policies considering the business ethics so that the organisation such as Amazon can efficiently ensure better, competent and motivated workforce. Analysis of whether the CEO of Amazon considers ethics within the organisation as their priority On the basis of the opinion of Jeff Bezos it can be analysed that ethics is crucial for the organisation as it formulates, regulate and managers the behaviour of the people associated with the organisation as well as in developing better corporate culture at the workplace. Ethics in business at different level ensure that the confidence of public on the organisation is revitalized as well as the level of contribution of employees can be enhanced.
