1 PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION Reflective journal entry 2 Client centeredness is one of the most important factors in the nursing care process. The client centeredness is the phenomenon which focuses on the health care decision making of the provider and the client by maintaining the mutual value and safeguarding the legal interests of both. Based on this context, I can reflect that the client centeredness is the factor that can focus on every aspect of the care and help the care provider and the client to improve the health status and the health outcome of the client. I can also state that the effective communication and the partnership development with the client are the primary need for the care provider to provide a client centered care (Clarke et al., 2017). Hence, we can also find that the process of the care should be developed with the consideration of the priority to the patient. Moreover, I can also find that the partnership with the client is one the specific factor in the professional nursing standards. Thus, it can be highlighted that the importance of the client centeredness and also the partnership with the patient cannot be neglected. On the other hand, it can be stated that the positivecommunicationandtheholisticapproachofcareshouldbeconsideredforthe improvement of the care delivery process. Thus, it can be stated that the improved care delivery is dependent on all these factors collectively. However, the knowledge and the skills of the care provider especially the nurses are very much important in this context. Thus, I can state that the improvement of the nursing competence should be developed for the improvement of the care delivery (Gross, McCabe & Miciak, 2017). Hence, I can also find that the process of the

Empathy is the factor that should be incorporated in the communication process. Moreover, I can also reflect that the partnership development with the client with proper communicationstrategiessuchastheactivelistening,culturalcompetence,positiveor empathized tone of communication, non-verbal communication and also empowering the patient (Barker & Al Battashi, 2016). All these factors should be developed and improved among the nursing care professionals for improved care delivery to the patients. Thus, I can state that the process of the care should be comprised with all the nursing competences focused on the client centered care delivery. Thus, I can find out the factor of the care should be comprised with the partnership with the client and also focused on the development of the mutual respect with the patient. Hence, the communication skills of the nurses should be considered with utmost priority as well. I also can reflect that the continuous improvement in the communication skills and also the therapeutic relationship with the patient will help the nurses to deliver the positive and effective care to the patient (Corbett, Wilson & Miller, 2017).
3 PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION Reflective journal entry 3 Nurse client relationship is the factor that should be considered with highest priority by the nursing care professional for the improvement of the health condition of the patient. It has been seen that trust is the most important aspect in the relationship build up. I can state that the process of the care should be delivered to the patient with the consideration of the client centeredness. Thus, it can be stated that the trust development with the patient would be very much important for the effective therapeutic relationship development. Trust development is dependent on the positive communication strategies and showing empathy to the patient. The nurse should prioritize the patient’s needs and communicate with the patient with positive tone to develop the trust (Walker, 2016). Trust and the dependence development should be considered for the therapeutic relationship development with the patient. Moreover, the factor of the improved care delivery should be considered with the proficient and effective communication with the patient. Thus, I can state that the process of the communication and also the effective care process or understanding the patient should be considered with higher priority by the nursing care professional. It has been seen that the therapeutic relationship development with the patient is one of the professional nursing standards. Thus, the trust development with the patient should be considered by us as trust is the key factor for the relationship development (Feo et al., 2017). Moreover, I can also reflect that the trust development with the client with proper communication strategies such as the active listening, cultural competence, positive or empathized tone of communication, non-verbal communication and also empowering the patient. Thus, I can state that the process of the care should be comprised with all the nursing competences focused on the client centered care delivery. Thus, it is effective for the improved care delivery process. Based on this factor I can also state that the process of care should be considered with interpersonal trust development. However, skills and the knowledge of the nurse are very much important in this aspect of the care delivery process (Conroy et al., 2017).
