Client centeredness is one of the most important factors in the nursing care process. The
client centeredness is the phenomenon which focuses on the health care decision making of the
provider and the client by maintaining the mutual value and safeguarding the legal interests of
both. Based on this context, I can reflect that the client centeredness is the factor that can focus
on every aspect of the care and help the care provider and the client to improve the health status
and the health outcome of the client. I can also state that the effective communication and the
partnership development with the client are the primary need for the care provider to provide a
client centered care (Clarke et al., 2017). Hence, we can also find that the process of the care
should be developed with the consideration of the priority to the patient. Moreover, I can also
find that the partnership with the client is one the specific factor in the professional nursing
standards. Thus, it can be highlighted that the importance of the client centeredness and also the
partnership with the patient cannot be neglected. On the other hand, it can be stated that the
positive communication and the holistic approach of care should be considered for the
improvement of the care delivery process. Thus, it can be stated that the improved care delivery
is dependent on all these factors collectively. However, the knowledge and the skills of the care
provider especially the nurses are very much important in this context. Thus, I can state that the
improvement of the nursing competence should be developed for the improvement of the care
delivery (Gross, McCabe & Miciak, 2017). Hence, I can also find that the process of the

partnership development with the patient would be developed with the consideration of the
mutual respect, cultural competence if required and also communicating with the positive tone of
communication. Empathy is the factor that should be incorporated in the communication process.
Moreover, I can also reflect that the partnership development with the client with proper
communication strategies such as the active listening, cultural competence, positive or
empathized tone of communication, non-verbal communication and also empowering the patient
(Barker & Al Battashi, 2016). All these factors should be developed and improved among the
nursing care professionals for improved care delivery to the patients. Thus, I can state that the
process of the care should be comprised with all the nursing competences focused on the client
centered care delivery. Thus, I can find out the factor of the care should be comprised with the
partnership with the client and also focused on the development of the mutual respect with the
patient. Hence, the communication skills of the nurses should be considered with utmost priority
as well. I also can reflect that the continuous improvement in the communication skills and also
the therapeutic relationship with the patient will help the nurses to deliver the positive and
effective care to the patient (Corbett, Wilson & Miller, 2017).

Nurse client relationship is the factor that should be considered with highest priority by
the nursing care professional for the improvement of the health condition of the patient. It has
been seen that trust is the most important aspect in the relationship build up. I can state that the
process of the care should be delivered to the patient with the consideration of the client
centeredness. Thus, it can be stated that the trust development with the patient would be very
much important for the effective therapeutic relationship development. Trust development is
dependent on the positive communication strategies and showing empathy to the patient. The
nurse should prioritize the patient’s needs and communicate with the patient with positive tone to
develop the trust (Walker, 2016). Trust and the dependence development should be considered
for the therapeutic relationship development with the patient. Moreover, the factor of the
improved care delivery should be considered with the proficient and effective communication
with the patient. Thus, I can state that the process of the communication and also the effective
care process or understanding the patient should be considered with higher priority by the
nursing care professional. It has been seen that the therapeutic relationship development with the
patient is one of the professional nursing standards. Thus, the trust development with the patient
should be considered by us as trust is the key factor for the relationship development (Feo et al.,
2017). The professional relationship with the patient should be considered by the nursing care

development among the nurse and the patient will be effective as this allows the patients to be
open towards the nurse. The openness of the patient helps the nurse to understand the concern
and also analyze the issues of the patient accordingly. Thus, it leads to the therapeutic
relationship development with the patient (Parry, Lloyd & Simpson, 2017). In this context, I can
highlight or reflect that the trust build up is crucial for the interpersonal relationship development
among the nurse and the patient. It has been seen that interpersonal trust development helps the
patient to feel safe. Moreover, I can also reflect that the trust development with the client with
