This presentation discusses the significance of professional development and business communication in career progression and development. It explores the reflection statement using the DIEP model and highlights the importance of communication and technological skills. INTRODUCTION
 Professional development and business communication is
determined as a process through which the individual person
emphasized on acquiring or managing the process that offer
opportunity within organisation and also helpful in career
progression as well as development. In this assignment, the
reflection statement is explained by using DIEP model.
There are two kinds of skills such as communication as well
as technological skills which will be helpful in my career
progression as well as development according to my
experience during University (Baker, 2019).

REFLECTION STATEMENT USING DIEP MODEL
 I am focusing on two skill named as communication as well as technological skill that
help in my career progression and development. Now it is my turn to carry out personal
reflection on my own experience level. I had this experience when I was in university.
 While organising my studies at the University I am able to learn different things that
help in attaining appropriate career and it will also assist me in getting proper job as per
my talent as well as knowledge. Firstly when I go to university I have experience
different issues just because of lack of skill, abilities as well as knowledge. In initial
level I am not capable to interact with other appropriately due to which no one needs to
communicate with me. In addition to this, I also feel unhappy because I did not have too
much friends to whom I can discuss or explain my issues as well as problem. So after
sometime I have to decide that I want to increase my skill that helps in making new
friends and interacting with other person in an appropriate manner. Therefore my main
focus is to increase my communication skill and ability that helps in improving my
image in the society in an appropriate manner. In first when I went to University I am
generally not take participation in any other activity such as programs festival as well as
event. Therefore I am focusing on increasing my communication skill as well as critical
thinking skills that help me in performing my work in timely manner (Pop, 2016).

DIEP MODEL
 Describe: when I was at University I do not have a good communication skill.
Therefore I am focusing on increasing my communication or technological skill.
Due to which I am focusing on taking appropriate training session that helps me in
increasing my knowledge towards communication or technological skill. I also learn
new and new things that assist in providing knowledge which will be helpful for me
in my career progression and development. Therefore there are different issues as
well as challenges which is faced by me when I want to learn communication as well
as technological skills which will be a necessary for my career progression as well as
development. . In initial level I am not capable to interact with other appropriately
due to which no one needs to communicate with me. In addition to this, I also feel
unhappy because I did not have too much friends to whom I can discuss or explain
my issues as well as problem. So after sometime I have to decide that I want to
increase my skill that helps in making new friends and interacting with other person
in an appropriate manner (Davis and Bolen, 2016).

INTERPRET:
 when I organise my studies at University then I am focusing on
increasing my communication as well as technological skill by
taking appropriate training session and development. There are
many issues as well as challenges which is faced by me when I am
learning more and more things regarding communication as well as
technological skills which is helpful in my career progression as
well as development. Therefore, my professor as well as teachers
helps me in increasing my knowledge as well as a skill in relation
to my communication or technological skills that helped me in
completing my project in timely manner. It will also help me in me
in achieving goals as well as objective in pre-decided period of
time.

EVALUATION
The communication as well as technological skill helps me in boosting
my career progression as well as development. In every step of my life,
the communication skill is very important in order to interact with other
individual person in an appropriate manner. Communication will also
help me in making new friends in order to coordinate with them in
order for performing my work in an appropriate manner. In assistance
of this, the technological skill is necessary for performing difficult task
in easy manner which will be beneficial in future period of time. In
addition to this, I am focusing on increasing knowledge as well as skill
regarding technology that helped me in my career progression and
development. It is necessary to have knowledge of latest technology for
achieving goal as well as objective in pre-decided period of time (Balfe
and Ní Bhroin, 2019).

PLAN
 Therefore, after increasing my communication as well as
technological skill it will also helpful for me in planning in an
appropriate manner. It helps me in making appropriate discussion
regarding what to do in future period of time. Therefore it will also
help me in my career progression and development. During
University, my supervisor as well as senior help me in improving
my communication skill that is helpful in future period of time. I
have also good technological skill that helped me in understanding
or learning innovative things for achieving goals as well as
objective in targeted period of time. It will also help me in boosting
my career according to my knowledge as well as ability. In addition
to this, there are various teachers who give their support to me for
performing my project in an appropriate manner and offer the
appropriate training or suggestions that assist in completing or
finishing my project on timely manner.

CONCLUSION
 On the basis of above mentioned report, it has been analysed that
professional development is determined as a process through
which the individual person emphasized on acquiring or managing
the process that offer opportunity within organisation and also
helpful in career progression as well as development. In this
assignment, the reflection statement is explained by using DIEP
model. There are two kinds of skills such as communication as
well as technological skills which will be helpful in my career
progression as well as development according to my experience
during University.
