INTRODUCTION The professional development is considered to be the ability of an individual with the help of which an individual can maintain the professional credentials by way of academic degrees through their coursework as well as through various informal courses and learning opportunities the abilities can be improved (Uen, 2018). The professional capabilities are crucial in all the areas as the level of competition is increasing in each and every segment due to which the requirement of specific course of action increases. Such skills enable an individual to get better employment as well as to perform better on the basis of various skills so procured in the graduate courses. In this report the critical evaluation is done of various employability skills that has been developed during the graduate course as well as various attributes related to the tourism, hospitality and event industries. MAIN BODY An individual has to perform various roles to be successful in their career and for this better knowledge, ability and skills are required. I started my graduation with the aim of procuring better academic knowledge from the course and will improve various with the help of which my ability to perform the desired job role can be enhanced (Lozovitskaya and Weerakit, 2017). The service industry has been growing significantly due to which I always wanted employment in this industry but specifically tourism, hospitality and event industries were more attractive to me as it include more and more interaction with people from different nations and offers opportunity to keep on learning new aspects as per the taste and preference of the customers. To support this I took into consideration the course related to the service marketing as with the help of this I coulddevelopbetterunderstandingofvariousconceptswhicharecrucialforefficient management of different activities related to these industries. My academic course enables to understand the importance of customer perception for the organisation industry as they directly have to interact with them and has to continuously put efforts so that their experience can be improved. For determining the importance of various skills to be developed during the graduation I conduct a secondary research with the help of which I could identify that this course will help me in improving my ability to perform better and take better decisions as I will be able to learn various theories, models and concepts. With the help of understanding of all these the situation
which will be faced professionally can efficiently be managed by me because I can analyse them with the use some of the theories and model as well as their impact can also be identified with them. During the course I have to participate in various activities to be organised within the college and these activities will enable me in developing various skills such as better and effectivecommunication,abilitytocriticalunderstandingthesituationinvarioussports activities, presentation skills etc. All these skills and participation will improve my level of competition for undertaking various tasks and responsibility for completing them. Further I conducted the research on various attributes related to the tourism, hospitality and the event industry so that all the skills, ability and competence required can be identified as it will enable me in managing them along with the course (Morozov and Morozova, 2020). On the basis of the secondary research I identified that I have to focus upon various concept such as tourism marketing system, service marketing triangle, marketing strategies that are used by the service organisationsspeciallyinthetheseindustries,theimportanceofintegratedmarketing communication etc. Apart from this the factors that has direct on these industries such as the changing that are taking place within the taste and preferences of the customers, the changing external environment in terms of political barriers, legal restriction etc. In the tourism and hospitality industry it is important that I have efficient understanding of various media as it facilitates the business organisation in reaching to the customers as well as managing their level of experience, also I have to develop better understanding various methods that will facilitate me in identifying the needs of the customers so that they can be provided services as per their requirement with which their level of satisfaction can be increased. But the research facilitated me to understand that the graduation will only offer the academic knowledge and the ability while to be successful in these industries it is important that I have significant understanding the external environment and its impact on these industries. For managing this I have to consistently go through various sources such as online sources, books and journals so that the impact of different factors on the event industry, hospitality and tourism can be identified (Ann and Blum, 2020). In order to be successful in my career I have to take into consideration various skills that I have to develop during the course so that I can be successful in the graduate course as well in my profession. My prime focus has to be on the academics understanding as with the help of this better knowledge can be gained in context of the course work due to which I will be able to score

Along with this I have to emphasis on my innovation and creativity skills as this will help me to perform better in the course such as with the help of this better performance is expected in the assignments, better and effective solutions to the case studies as well as problem solving assessment tests etc. Also in this data driven age, better understanding of data analytics skills will enable me in better evaluation of the situation due to which I can easily score better marks while in future with this skills I can easily take decisions by analysing the data of the organisation. In addition to this there are various attributes which are to be taken into consideration includes the motivation and commitment, enthusiasm, interpersonal and thinking skills; as this leads to positivity in the character and the attitude which will encourage me in accomplishing my goals and objectives (Tattum and Tattum, 2017). The commitment level will have impact on my behaviour and this will force me to be focussed towards the work and the consistency for enhancing the capabilities to performing well. With enthusiasm I can keep my interest in the matter and accordingly will plan my actions such as enrolment in various courses so that additional knowledge can be gathered and it will enhance my capabilities among the other students to compete with them. The other attributes such as interpersonal skills and thinking skills has to be improved and for this I have to focus upon various reading as with reading the mind broaden up and it enables to think bytakingintoconsiderationvariousaspects,alsoitfacilitatetocommunicatebetterby understanding the ideology of other person. With the help of these skills and attributes I can easily perform the role which I am seeking i.e., to be on managerial post in any organisation from the tourism and hospitality industry. The interpersonal skills will enable me in managing the satisfaction level of customers efficiently as with this I can communicate with them thus I can understand their requirements also it will facilitate me in determining various factors that affects the decision making of the customers. Better analytics skills ensures that on the basis of this I can easily take efficient decision as by analysing the data of the customers various identification can be made such as forecasting regarding the requirement of the rooms in particular month or day as well as in determining the prices of the rooms or complete package for travelling to any place. In addition to this better
motivational level and commitment will ensure that I perform better and make a better team that can perform consistently towards the goals and objectives to be achieved by the organisation. The soft skills as considered to be the people skills and it will ensure polite behaviour with the guests so that their satisfaction can be ensured in an innovative manner along with some creativity. CONCLUSION It is concluded from the above report that an individual has to be consistent towards various skills that they have to procure as with this they can ensure their professional success. For this the research must be done which will facilitate them to understand the impact of various factors and forces on them so that they can manage them by developing various required skills set. The skills and attributes must be considered as per the goals as the goals specific actions enhances the efficiency and performance.
