INTRODUCTION
A personal reflective analysis is a process of describing a person experience about a specific
event or situation. It enables in analysing and evaluating all things that occurred during event.
From that it is easy to find out learnings and areas of improvement. Moreover, it is useful in
finding out what went well and not (Arvanitopoulos, NAchanta and Susstrunk, 2017). So, on
basis of that action plan is developed for personal development and skills to be improved. There
are several models used in describing reflection.
This essay will describe about my experience and reflection on various situations that I
faced. Also, it will focus on learning and interpersonal skills with help of Gibbs reflective model.
REFLECTION
Here, there are some situation given on basis of which reflection is to be written. For that
Gibbs model is to be used. The model allows individual to think and analyse in systematic way.
they are able to evaluate things in depth manner.
Description- in this I my personality test was done which gave me insight about my skills and
abilities. In that I was given marks according to my skills. Here, in emotional support my score
was 90. The big 5 theories was used to analyse my personal development.
Feelings – here, I feel that I did not know how to do self assessment thus I took help of expert. I
was not able to apply and use theories of it. I was not having any knowledge carrying out task. In
beginning I did not do things properly but after using one theory I was able to apply other models
as well (Cunliffe and Easterby-Smith, 2017).
Evaluation- I evaluated that my emotional support is good and I need to do some new things.
Also, I did not take proper decision sometimes. Also, I got to know about my strength are
openness, emotional control, etc. and my weakness are lack of organising skills. However, I
worked in team with others. I communicated with others. Also, when there occurred any problem

Analysis- I analysed that in my self assessment many things went well and not. the score that I
got was good. My personal resilience is average as I am able to know myself to some extent. I
like to accept challenges. I am easily able to cope up with change. I learn and adopt things
quickly. I ca solve problems as well and work in effective way with others. I rely on my support.
The big 5 theories state that I m open to all. I am highly experience in solving complex problem.
But I do not know how to take effective decision.

Conclusion- I realise that I am not good in some vital areas (Langbehn, Peng and Brouwer,
2017). My weakness is that I do not get agree on easily. Moreover, I am less conscientiousness.
This means I want to change things around. I am not able to take effective decisions most of
times. Thus, I need to improve my decision making skills. However, I am INTP that is I can
easily solve problem but not able to take decision. I know about several theories that is applied.
Action plan – I need to improve certain areas in which I am lacking. This is because it will help
me in my career growth and development. So, I need to enhance my decision making skills. This
will help me in taking effective decision. I will get to know about process of taking decision.
besides, I need to be organised with others. With this I will focus on my target and achieve in
time. Along with it, I should be control my emotions. By this I will handle and manage stress. I
must learn new theories of it and apply them practically (Palmer, 2017).

did not know how to do it. So it was difficult for me to find out where to start and how
assignment is to be done. After that I was given second assignment as well. I took initiative to
communicate with all other members so that I can know what each one is doing. Thus, is started

person my confidence boosted up.

increasing their efficiency and resulting in positive outcome.

each staff after training that how much their efficiency has improved. Thus, as a leader I was also
having a role to measure it. Besides, I did not formed goals and objectives of training sessions.
Only I took overall goal of reducing performance. I effectively worked in group and manage 4
people (Langbehn, Peng and Brouwer, 2017).
