Negotiation is one of the best core skill, it is the process of bargaining between two or more business parties attempt to discover general ground and reach an agreement to settle substance of common concern or solve conflict among workers and high authority (Callister and Love, 2016). It is the method by which group of people set differences, on the other words it is a procedure by which agreement and compromise is reached while avoiding dispute and argument. In way to gain desirable outcome, it will be useful to follow organizedapproach to negotiation. Preparation, clarification of goals, discussion, implementation of course of activity etc. are the stages which has been included in process of negotiation skill. Why is this core skill important? Why did I select this skill to reflect on? Negotiation skill is very essential in my personal life as it helps me a lot when conflict arise in workplace which make impact on business productivity and profitability. This skill support in my personal lives as well as professional lifestyle. I have to develop it more than now that help to get better outcome. Negotiators will control over process of communication effectively. Chaos theory deals with many things that are very difficult and impossible to predict and control. Quick changes in business structure make difficulties and make something non liner, this skill will help me to get the better results.Reflect on your current competence regarding this skill. How did you assess your competence? Lack of negotiation is one of my weakness which make trouble in my professional as well aspersonal life. I need to develop negotiation skill in myself which has been very beneficial formy career growth and success in job and achieve desired goals and business objectives. Withthe help of taking feedback to my colleges and seniors I realize that I have lack of negotiation in working style which affect my activities and other things. I take feedback form coach and peers in which they give information about lack of negotiation skill in myself. Can you identify any contradictions from your analysis above? For example, is there a match between how you see yourself and how others see you, or not?
