Introduction
Every organization has an ethical code that guides decisions and activities to achieve
effective productivity and maintain a reputation. Ethical behavior allows employees to
complete their work honestly and fairly. Adhering to rules and policies is essential to
achieving organizational goals. I define the principle that a manager leads the company with
all employee ethics, company morale, and productivity. Workplace harassment and employee
abuse scandals have appeared if the Code of ethics is not a part of the organizational
operating menu. Ethics is at the core of professionalism. To create a culture of transparency
and trust, practitioners must demonstrate strict standards of integrity when advising business
leaders.
This report focuses on professional ethics by considering specific ethical issues and
principles of conduct related to the professional environment and the people who interact
with it. This report includes the necessary information to eliminate the ethical issues arising
in professional and commercial workplaces. The ultimate objective of this report is to help
managers understand their driving forces. That allows managers to understand and empathize
with colleagues and customers. This report requires managers to be better prepared to
identify, think critically, and solve racial problems in the workplace.
What is professional ethics?
Professional ethics refers to a "set of rules" and values that reinforce professional
activities. It is responsible for defining the code of ethics that governs the work environment.
These guiding principles are toward the universal values that human beings possess. The
word ethics comes from the Greek word; ethikos (personality). It is the study of morals and
human behavior to reinforce desired behavior. The premise of moral sentences is the
formulation of moral judgments and standards that dictate how members of a society should
behave. Ethics is the study of human behavior according to rules that contribute to social
harmony. Business ethics are essential for anyone who wants to work because they include
the practice of values such as responsibility, punctuality, honesty, patience, character, justice,
and gratitude. Responsibility is an integral part when we talk about professional ethics.
Everyone is allowed to work fairly and professionally. Conflicts often occur when there is a
discrepancy between professional and personal ethics. In such cases, if you believe that a
person is not behaving ethically, you should take measures. (Shapira, 2016), (R. Sommers-
Flanagan, 2007)
