Introduction
Professional medical interpreters are important factor
for working along and removing linguistic barriers in
patient-healthcare relations.
Healthcare suffers if patients and the professionals
witness unsatisfactory communication among them.
It helps the healthcare professional to understand
better their patients and explain them the process of
treatment and their health outcomes in a much fine
manner (Karliner, Pérez-Stable & Gregorich, 2017).
Objectives
The objective of professional interpreter is to :
Achieve more precise medical histories of patients
Reduce stress among patients and their family
members
Improve the efficiency in healthcare settings
Retain better understanding and provide treatment
plan (Lee et al., 2017).
