1.1 Introduction
The case study will be focussing on the list of stakeholders and their association with the
ACS code of Professional Conduct. According to the case study, Mr. McBright is an employee
of New Age Pvt Ltd which develops OS by the name XYZ Pty Ltd and Mrs. McDonald is an
inefficient senior employee who is also the system in charge of XYZ Pty Ltd gets reported from
Mr. McBright (Boland & Mogk, 2018). An ethical dilemma followed when Mr McBright
discovered a bug in a 2-million-dollar project but Mrs. McBright passed the project to XYZ Pty
Ltd inspite of knowing about the bug. This resulted in the development of a bug known as
McDonaldBug which destroyed the records of the Bad luck bank and also burned an office
complex owned by Tasty Burgers Pvt Ltd. As a result, both organizations, sued XYZ Pty Ltd for
their loss but Mayor Hon. Joseph Luck interfered in the legal proceedings, having a connection
with the with XYZ Pty Ltd both the corporations are suffering in the proceedings as the case
have been adjourned indefinitely.

Mr. McBright was very much ethical in his working environment, as he wanted Mrs.
McDonald to reconsider the project schedule as he identified the mal-functioning of the OS
while testing it. Mr. McBright successfully applied ethical decision making approaches in his
workplace. Mrs. McDonald was very much complacent with her position in New Age Pvt Ltd
and was very much biased in the recruitment process of the organization failing to meet ethical

2.1 Introduction
The prime objective of this unit of the paper is to focus on the development of a career
plan in the field of information technology with the help of the Skills Framework for the
Information Age (SFIA) framework. The paper will discuss all the different aspects of the Skills
Framework for the Information Age, which are required in developing the career. The different
levels of responsibilities will be discussed in the paper.
2.2 Skills Framework for the Information Age
Quantification of the skills required in the field of information technology can be done
with the help of this framework. The employees of the information technology can measure their
skills with the help of this framework. The managing competencies for the ICT professionals can
be understood in a better way with the help of this framework. All the major ICT organizations
around the world such as the Microsoft and IBM uses in this framework in their working
environment. There are seven different categories of responsibilities which exists in this
framework which are Follow, Assist, Apply, Enable, Ensure and advice, Initiate and influence
and set strategy, inspire and mobilize. Each of the levels are again subdivided into 4 categories
each which are the Autonomy, Influence, Complexity and business skills.

understand about the project and the needs of the clients (Thönssen & von Dewitz, 2018).
Understanding about the business skills required will be coming in the second level where I will
be getting more exposure considering level 1. Group activities will be helping me in this level
where I can look after the leaders who are there to guide us. The tools and applications which are
needed in the future works will also be identified in the level 2. The following level will be
helping me to understand the complexities associated with the IT projects. The key approaches to
the project can be understood with the help of this level. Project scheduling and monitoring of
the work will also be understood in the level 3 (Von Konsky, Miller & Jones, 2016). Leadership
qualities will be exploited in the level 4 when personal responsibility will be given to me,
technical abilities will be tested so that I can precede towards me final level which I’m aiming
for. In this phase I can understand about the needs and requirements of the clients of the project
and get to know about the different stakeholders associated with the project. After spending
considerable time in the level 4, I believe I will be ready to move on to my next level where I can
of the SFIA 6 framework (McKenzie, Coldwell-Neilson & Palmer, 2015). I have the capability
