PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN IT1 Project planning: The aim of the project is to develop an asset tracking software for the LogistiX Company. At present, the organization is using spreadsheets for tracking the assets of them that includes trucks, containers, cranes and some of the other items. For the project, one backend functionality for data storing will be created using database, for that one of the free sources are preferable. And one front end will also be created for presenting an interface to the customers where a customer will be able to retrieve or enter data from the back end. Only the person who is authorized can only access the system. There will be no inconsistency of data as well as the information and data will be remain protected from the sources that are not legal. Technology stack A: Quality planning: Software QFD Product innovation: TRIZ UML techniques and tools: NetBeans, Ms visio, Database modelling tool: My SQL Project management and planning: Ms project
2PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN IT Effort estimation: Top down Risk identification: Software-FMEA Monitoring and reporting: ISO-9001:2008 Methodologies: RUP Programming languages: Java,.NET Libraries, technologies and framework: Java: JEE/J2EE, Java 2D .NET: Visual basic IDE: Netbeans, MS visual studio Networking protocols: TCP/IP, SMS Data storages/data bases: MY SQL server Web servers and applications:
3PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN IT IBM web share Cloud computing: Amazon Web services Enterprise service Bus: Biztalk Graphic and web design: InDesign, Corel Draw Testing: Installation testing, Load testing, Automated testing. Unit testing: JUnit, utPLSQL Issue management: Rally, Trac Technology stack B: Quality planning: Software-QFD Product innovation: Innovation algoritm UML techniques and tools: VOCT, IDEF

9PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN IT The technology stack A is better than the technology stack B. As with the implementation of stack A My SQL will be used as the data modelling tool but for the stack B TOAD will be used where My SQL is better than any other data base modelling tools. And for the management and planning of the project MS project will be used where ScrumDesk is not as good as MS project. Also the combination of the java and ASP.NET will way better than PHP and SQL combination. SWOT analysis: Strength: The technology stack A will be suitable for the implementation of the project. As it is having so much advantages. As it will use My SQL as the data modelling tool but for the stack B TOAD will be used where My SQL is better than any other data base modelling tools. And for the management and planning of the project MS project will be used where ScrumDesk is not as good as MS project. Weakness: The technology stack A and stack B are having some weaknesses too as the software will be based on the internet or web. The software will also based on the cloud services. The will be a strong probability to be hacked. Opportunities: The data will be stored into one system. The authority can access data any time from there. The data will be stored automatically to the system and it will send the data automatically to the storage. There will be no risk for loosing the data.

10PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN IT Threats: The system can have the probability to be hanged. And the data can be lost then. And the most dangerous threat for the software is hacking.
