Task 1
Think of a time when you took part in an unsuccessful negotiation. This could be at work, at
university or in your personal life.
Describe what you think went wrong with your negotiating technique and how you would
approach the situation differently if it happened again.
Ans. The unsuccessful negotiation was lead to have the failure by having the agreement in
order to reach the goals that occurs in order to have better implement. At time when I have
faced the successful negotiation it lead to have the disturbance in order to work in the
university. In order to do the project there was not the proper negotiation among the team
which has lead to affect the work in university. As there was no proper allotment of the roles
and responsibilities which has affected the working in order to do project. In the future if the
same situation arises than I will be assigning the proper roles and responsibilities that helps to
have the better negotiation in order to do the project.

Ans. From the week session I have learnt about the various techniques in order to have the
best negotiation in order to perform the work. By having the good negotiation it helps the
person to develop it career and have the good solution of the situation in the market. This
helps me to have development in my communication skills by having the communication
with the people in the session. By having this session this helps me to have the understanding
about the power balance in the working by setting the time for each element in order to do

work. I have also established and build a rapport that helps me to have better negotiation in
the future. As it is very important for the people to know about have the building of rapport.
By having the good communication with the people it also helps me to develop my active
listening skills. This was the best session attended by me which helps me to improve my
skills and improves the quality of working. In order to have the win situation it helps the
person to achieve the goals in order to avoid the issues related to negotiation. As there are
various types of people in the market that used to have effect on having the negotiation in the
market. So in order to handle them it is very necessary to have the best active and
communication skills. This will help me to have enhancement in my further skills and
improves my future as well. By having the development, it will improve the performance and
helps me to grow. This includes the working on the goal and taking the feedback that helps
me to know about the better working in my future. This will help me to full focus on my
work it will help me to have in the professional development.

Ans. The development is the crucial part of everyone’s life, so in order to develop the
negotiation skills I have to be a part of negotiation. This helps me to develop my active
listening by having the good negotiation with the people with whom I will be
communicating.

Ans. In order to attain the skill I required having the good and best team with whom I can
communicate. I also required having the good technology which helps me to have the proper
learning of the negotiation with other in the market. My goal is to have the successful
negotiation with the people in the market.
