Task 1
Create appropriate answers to these interview questions and showcase your skills,
competencies and relevant experience.
1. Tell me about yourself.
I am graduate student form XYZ University and currently looking for the job that will
challenge my existing skills and competencies and open up new opportunities for learning.
2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Current strength I have analysed in myself is effective time management skill that allows me
to complete various task on time without missing any kind of deadlines. However, one of the
major weakness is lack of effective oral communication skills due to which I am not able to
open up to other people easily and discuss or prove my point to others.
3. What particular skills do you bring to this role?
I believe that for post like this it is required that there is presence of patience and motivation
that would allow to solve the task in positive manner. Thus, in this context I purely believe
that I am self-motivated person when certain things needs to be accomplished by me.
Furthermore, I am a active listener and is able to listen to other problems in easier way so
later possible solutions could be provided based on my beliefs.
4. Imagine you had an angry customer, what would you do to leave the customer
feeling satisfied?
I would first hear the problem that is faced by customer and the say sorry for any
inconvenience faced and would assure them that their query would be addressed within the
24 hours. Thus, this would make the customer satisfied for the time being and meanwhile I
would discuss the same with my seniors to reach to the best solution for the problem.

5. Give me an example of a difficult decision you’ve had to make in your job? What
made it difficult and what was the outcome?
The most difficult decision that I have made during my job was moving to the current team
from my prior team because of the urgent requirement basis. Also, it was quite difficult for
me as after long time I was able to adjust according to team requirements and had gain clarity
about the strength and weakness of each team members. Hence, moving to other team means
that I have to understand their nature of working and the steps that are being followed.
However, in the end it resulted into positive outcome as all team members were quite
supportive and cooperative in nature that made my work easier

In the today session I had learnt about the ways of going on the interview and what are the
things that needed to be considered while approaching for any kind of interview sessions.
Also, the most interesting part of the session was preparing the CV that is most crucial and
important for the future professional growth and development while working in any sector.
Furthermore, one thing that I have learnt is that interviews need to be faced in all aspects of
life and hence it is required that these are faced with confidence so that certain questions are
answered in the best manner (Bälter and et.al., 2018). Also, I have realized that interviews
session are quite interesting when the communications skills are quite good as it would allow
in proper exchange of thoughts and also the best engagement would be developed.
Furthermore, I have realized that there are various types of interviews that are conducted
while entering into the professional world and it depends upon the job role that is needed to
be performed. Also, most commonly interviews that are been taken in the online interviews
where the people are able to communicate with each other even while working in remote
areas. Furthermore, one thing I am not sure about the whole learning sessions is whether
digital interviews are more goods than compare to panel interviews because the digital
interviews are for limited time but the panel interviews consist more of the closed ended
questions and much longer time (Oliffe and et.al., 2021). However, I am very sure after this
session that it doesn't matter on the type of interview but it matters how much research had
been done to appear for any kind of interview sessions. Also, it is very important to have
complete knowledge of strength and weakness before only so that questions might be
answered in best of manner. Also, it would help in facing the group interviews in effective

manner in due course of time. Furthermore, I might have learnt more about interviews if I
myself had discussed the same with my friends or peers before appearing such kind of
learning sessions as it would allow me to have more useful insights about such things. Also,
some things I want to do know is to appear the panel interview sessions while opting for the
field of my choice so that I would be able to follow the tips that are essential for interview
preparation (Wolff and Burrows, 2021). Furthermore, I have learnt that receiving the
feedback is also important part of the interview sessions as it helps in identifying the areas of
improvement that is essential for my own personal growth and development. Also, I want to
appear more for seminars where certain general interview questions are been described
clearly so that I could be more prepared to face critical interview question and is able to
answer them in best of manner. Thus, I am not sure that whether this learning gained during
the sessions would be used by me in the best manner in the future or not.

I want to work in the senior post in any workplace and for that it is required that I have team
handling abilities that is only possible when there is presence of the effective communication
skills so that short term objectives are achieved on time.
