Response to Mr. Newcomb’s request.Being a nurse it is my responsibility to evaluate and focus on the requests made by thepatients and ensure the higher satisfactions out of the medical care. It is very important toexamine that the request made do not lay any effect over the health of the patient and ensure thesafety over the same. I would respond in a positive manner and agree to make the arrangementfor the meeting with the mistress as these is no harm to the health of Mr. Newcomb in carryingout the act. Fulfilling the request would even make him feel better and happy even in this criticalsituation which would also help me to fulfill my responsibility. I would ensure that the meetingwould be arranged under proper care and surveillance so that there is no threat over the health ofMr. Newcomb also (Neighbour, 2017). 2. Application of the principles of beneficence, non-maleficence, autonomy, and justice tothe scenarioThe ethical considerations of medical include specific principles such as the beneficence,non-maleficence, autonomy, and justice which help the medical concerns to evaluate thesituation and make decision. In the present scenario, I had analyzed the request of patient basedon these four principles and made decision to make required arrangements for the meeting withmistress. The principle of autonomy mainly refers to the right of the patient to retain the controlover its health or body. The care person could advice or suggest but could not make any action toforce the decision of the patients. Beneficence states that the nurses must do everything whichcould benefit the patient and make them satisfied (Le Couteur and et al, 2017). The principle ofnon maleficence specifies to do no harm to the patient and make proper decision in consent totheir health. Justice states that there should be fairness in all the medical decision of the care
