TEAMWORK
According to Dr. Meredith Belbin, Team role is defined as “A propensity to contribute,
interrelate and behave in a specific manner with others (Lake et al., 2015). “
Bebin team roles define an outline of behavior that personifies individual’s conduct in
relationship to another in facilitating the progress of the team. The worth of the belbin team-role
theory enables the team and an individual to take advantage from self-knowledge and modify
rendering to the demands made by the outside circumstances.

TOTAL 10 0 10 8 11 6 5 18
In the above table, the highest total is 18, which shows that the primary team role is CF and the
second highest 11 shows that the secondary team role is ME. CF refers to Completer-Finisher
who has the capability to keep attention on the specifics and to follow-through and rarely begin
what they cannot end (Gutiérrez et al., 2019). They are introverts who do not require any outside
spur or stimulus and they are encouraged by their internal nervousness. The strength of my team
is that the members of my team have the capacity for working to the highest standards and
complete it until the work is not finished. They have the quality of fulfilling their promise and
dislike carelessness. Along with the strength, there are some weaknesses of the members of my
team as they have the propensity to worry about the little things and a unwillingness to “let it
go”.
ME refers to Monitor Evaluator who reflects the personality of prudent individuals and serious
minded with a developed internal immunity from being over-interested (Flores-Parra et al.,
2018). They take time while making decisions on some specific things, which require critical
ability of discerning. My team is a good monitor evaluator as they have the ability to make

judgments on all those factors, which creates issues or problems. The team members have the
strength of speaking and behaving in a proper way and this helps them to keep the information
confidential (Hoffman, 2018). This team role of my team members describes a weakness, which
is lack of inspiration. I observed that members of my team do not have the capacity or ability to
motivate or encourage each other to perform well.
Professional Ethics
Code of Conduct
Codes of conduct outline the values and principles, which are to be followed by the members of
the team or the employee of an organization. These principles measure the behavior and
decisions at the organization or company (Burlingame & Dernini, 2018). They provide common
outlines of how the team members should behave and how to handle the problems or issues
which generates like safety, harassment and conflicts of interest (Joseph & Hashmi, 2018).

Discussion
This code of conduct set forth ethical and legal standards for employees, officers and directors of
the company. This code is proposed to prevent misconduct and to endorse the virtuous conduct
of all the business commerce.
Compliance with rules, regulations and law
The team requires all those individuals who comply with all the rules, laws and regulations,
which are appropriate to the business (Mamic, 2017). If you become cognizant of all the
destruction of any rules, laws or regulations by any member of the team, them it is your
responsibility to report the substance to your supervisor.
Ethical conduct, honest and fair dealing
The members should deal ethically, fairly and honestly with the competitors, or other team
members. Declarations about the products and services of the company would not be untrue,
deceptive or misleading (Brislin, 2014). You are not required to take or support the unfair
advantage of anybody through concealment or manipulation.
Appropriate use and protection of commercial prospects
The members of the team must improve the company’s genuine interests when the opportunity
rises. You must not take the personal opportunities for yourself that are exposed from your
position or the use of the property of the company.
Confidentiality
Each participant of the team must keep the information related to the strategies or methods or
any other important measures. Unofficial revelation of any private information is restricted.

Conflicts of interest
The members of the team are required must not engage in any activity which will create personal
interest that presents a “conflicts of interest” between the members (Senators, 2017). If these
conflicts arise, then it is your responsibility to reveal any relationship or transaction.
Agreement and reporting procedures
Every member of the team has the opportunity to raise questions or to seek guidance and express
their concerns about the agreement with this code. If any member founds that the other member
is engaging in the company related activities that disturbs appropriate law or this code then he
should report such evidence to his supervisor or the general counsel (Pozgar, 2019).
Project Management
Analysis of Gantt chart
Actual progress
When the task started, it was sticked to the plan, and the activities begun. Our first target was to
gather the information about our given tittles (Wong, 2018). This activity was done in the 1st
week of the project; however, the commencement of the project was rough and simple. This data
was hard to understand which let the use of abbreviated words in the progress report. Next
activity covered was to interact with different people and to complete the survey. We made

employees fill the Beblin questionnaire and this task was under the process for the next 20 days.
For any Business Program, code of conduct is one of the most important criteria. It was created
within the 7 days after the questionnaire was filled (Ginevri & Trilling, 2018 ).
After the above data was analyzed, the next week was scheduled to analyze the strengths and
weaknesses of the members of team. This data shows that the strengths of the team involve good
management skills, strong work diligent, adaptable and flexible working. They have strong
communication skills and the ability to take relevant decisions, which are beneficial for the
organization. They have this capability to gather the information, analyze it in the proper way
and managing the data, which was collected in effective and efficient way. But with these
capabilities, there were some weaknesses of the team which included low creativity,
interpersonal relations, work ethics and non-initiative. These are some of the weaknesses of the
team members where they were facing these little issues while performing the task. But at the
end of the weeks the progress of the report was very good as the team managed the work on
time.
Professional skills in action:
This project was very effective for our team to learn and expand many areas where we needed to
develop some skills in order to complete the task. The members of my team performed very well
and did their best to their capability (Severt, 2019). Professional skills are those skills, which is
essential for any individual to grow and develop the professional ability to perform the work at
professional level. Whereas, lack of professionalism is one of the disadvantage for any business
to handle the functions and activities in an cooperation.
On the other hand, my team members show their creativity instead all the issues and conflicts
they faced. The performance of the individuals was very flexible and creative. There were some
incidents happened at the time of filling the questionnaire, but the members of my team
controlled that situation in a professional way (Gallagher, 2019). The team members have great
communication and coordination between them. They used to coordinate and plan daily actions
that they are required to perform on the daily basis. Communication between the participants was
enough to take decisions regarding any activity to be completed. Whatever task and activities
were signed to the team members on individual basis were done by them individually.

There are many areas, where the growth and development of different skills present in a person
needs to be done. For example, interpersonal relationship between the members of the team was
not good. They are required to develop their interpersonal skills in order to maintain a healthy
relationship between them. The only conflict faced by the fellows of my team is that they have
issues with each other in the starting but after some days everything gone so perfectly and a
smooth work of my team was seemed to be noticed (Cole et al., 2019). According to my
perspective, the team we build after some days of the commencement of the project was
becoming cooperative towards each other. The code of conduct we prepared was after one week
of the beginning of this project, and this was done together by us. We made rules and regulations
of our team to be followed by everyone of us (Jarvis, 2018).
When I observed that there is something bad going between my team, then I applied the theory
of learning the project team. The theory is Kolb’s learning styles and experiment learning cycle
theory to understand how to be a team, to be together. The learning process starts from concrete
experiment in which we learned to do things in a correct manner. We shared the work according
to the capability of a person (Rasouli & Namnabati, 2019). We focused more on the
professionalism of the individual in the team and divided the work done by each member. This
stage of the cycle made us learned the significance of being a team. The task becomes more easy
and understandable; this helped us to complete the work by consuming less time. The second
process is reflective observation where we gain knowledge about reviewing the project and the
environment. The cycle made us understand about the task we were doing in a more easy and
supportive way. It gave us a different experience about the project and made us understand the
difference between our past experience and the new experience after understanding the meaning
of the task. The third cycle we applied is abstract conceptualization, after the experience, we
had generated some creativeness in the minds of the team members. Everybody started taking
initiative and were performing good. This theory helped us to develop listening skills and
communication skills. it also helped us to learn the gesture while talking or having conversation
with some. The fourth And the last cycle we applied is active experimentation, this theory
helped us to apply our ideas into action. The ideas, I team was generating were being applied by
me in real life. I learned to analyze the project and the work before performing it. I was
generating professional skills day-by-day, as professional skills are necessary for any
professional work that we perform.

These theories helped me to know the meaning of professional skills and its importance in life. It
focus more on people and their conceptual, technical and human skills. Therefore, conceptual
skills are those where I started producing the ability to work with the broad concepts and the
ideas. The ideas and the creativity produced in the members of the team let us work more
smoothly and creatively. Technical skills are those when there was a change in my way of work.
When I generated professional skills and abilities to work in professional manner, the proficiency
in the work we divided let us experience the knowledge of that task. Human skills were produced
when I learned to work in a team and were able to work with the people in the different types of
working environment. These are known as three-skill, approaches which contended that there are
three effective leadership skills and explained the human, conceptual and technical skills of an
individual. The leader passes through various levels of the organization especially from upper
level to lower level, the cycle of skills flows from technical skills to human skills to conceptual
skills. These skills let me meet my leadership qualities, competencies, environmental influences
and career experiences. Effective leadership is reliant on hoe the competencies of the leader get
affected by the experience, attributes and environment of the leader.
Conceivably, the utmost use of the skill theory is that it keeps the performance of effective
leadership on learnable skills rather than the behaviors. Through this way, leadership is
obtainable for anyone at any time. Other than that, there are some failures of the skills theories
by being not good at futuristic thinking ability, which is unable to explain supervision skills.
For reflective impression, these skills need thorough understanding and are also transferable.
These skills enhances not only a personality but are carried along lifetime within every
professional pursuer. Being a leader makes everything sorted and even sometimes destructive
too. A good leader needs to thoughtful, straightforward, fair and a role model working motivator
for the completely dependent team to develop independency (Arnold & Boggs, 2019). Pressure
is experienced at every stage of living which should be easy to handle to be a ”professional one”.
It is just the matter of some learning and experience, which makes a person to reform himself
with a vision of dedication. Hence, these skills make everything easy and stress-free. Decision
making ability is a reflection of leadership and working under pressure abilities. It makes an
individual strong and a visionary with a positive attitude. From these skills, another developed
skill will be punctuality, which makes a professional a complete package. In addition, it

generates the ability to resolve conflicts, which would lead to a positive professional attitude and
healthy corporate environment. It also gives a great advantage of enhancing communicative
skills. By the word professional, it at least expected to be a great communicator, which reflects
and generates expression. In addition, it would also lead to another skillful trait known as
creative thinker. A professional has exceptional thinking abilities, which are out of box. They
develop a sense of managing every related core field. Working in team is also in addition a skill
generator, which is a essential element. As a team, expectations are by default developed by
either the corporates or teammates. If a professional accepts the fact of working in good faith and
considering every player as equal, part would develop a great attribute. Most important attribute,
which would develop and will lodge lifetime are “transferable skills”. These skills are carried in
different areas be it at any part of life. They are the most usable skills seen in every professional
profile. Even they are most preferred skill requirement in every corporate sector. It goes long
way and replicates your fitness and perfecting fitting in every job related to every field which
every professional should possess and keep hat mental state too.

Conclusion
This project is grounded on professional and personal skills that are required in an professional
or expert life and in an individual. Further in this project, abilities and capabilities needed to
backing up the task we have performed. A questionnaire has been prepared to find out the team
rules and regulations, skills and abilities to find out the strengths and weaknesses of the team
members. As each team is required to analyze the behaviors of each other in order to perform the
task or the project that was given to us. We even suffered from some conflicts that occurred in
between the behaviors and attitudes of the group individuals towards each other. This project
helped to develop the interpersonal skills of the team members, which supported us to reduce the
conflicts that occurred between us. Later, this task mentions some strategies and approaches that
the team member followed in order to learn the learning skills of being in a team.
