INTRODUCTION
Information and communication technology is referred as a framework which is used to
handle various processes of communication such as broadcast media, intelligent building
systems, telecommunications etc. which are complex to manage properly. It uses different tools
and techniques in order to create, share and exchange the crucial information in order to enhance
the quality of work. The ICT has become crucial for the digital organizations amid the pandemic
as most companies had to adopt remote working options for carrying out business practices.
The current report will explain two collaboration tools have helped various businesses to
survive in the pandemic, suitability, advantages, disadvantages and applications of Cloud
storage and cloud computing in improving digitalization, challenges of privacy and security with
possible measures to be undertaken and limitations and benefits of these networks.

Collaboration tools and their importance for organizations to survive in the pandemic
In the pandemic the collaboration had a significant impact on how they work, that
affected the software companies. During pandemic the software companies not stopped their
work, the information technology workers began working from home. There are two
collaboration tools which helped companies to survive in current pandemic which are mentioned
below:
Sketch board:-
Sketch board is a virtual white board. With the help of the sketch board team members
can put their ideas and with the help of diagrams they can easily describe their points. Sketch
board is a viable solution which helps in collaboration in virtual way, this looks likes the team
members are sitting in their conference room (Donthu and Gustafsson, 2020). These type of tool
gives the clients to be more clear about their questions, it also has a many sketch shapes and
connectors. It has a simple way to use, just to dragging and dropping on the board with the help
of mouse or digital pen.
By this the participants can also interact with each other during the session with the help
in-system chat box. There are many advantages of sketch boards are, participants can see the
whole board at once then, they just have to double-click somewhere to use the particular page.
They can also save their conversations or any projects.

During the pandemic sketch board has seen increased use from software companies,
education and in online training. This also supports the text formatting to markdown to
connection labels, that connection labels can bend from the bottom line to the upper line. Sketch
board have navigate also, this feature has designed to have a multiple idea (Kapadia and et.al.,
2019). With the help of navigation two to three things can be used in same time in a same page.
Sketch board also have a private team board where sharing is secure, outsiders cannot view
anything in from the private team board, except the team members.
Zimbra:-
Zimbra is cloud based mail, calendaring, and collaboration. Zimbra is secured for the
companies for sharing any kind private projects, primarily that is a web-based email client and
calendar feature which integrates various collaboration. During the pandemic with the help of
Zimbra between clients and company had a connectivity, through which they could connect with
each other to know the actual idea or about any kind of data (La Torre and et.al., 2021.). This
also have a feature of group messaging as well as video conferencing in the application. Clients
having access of collaboration features like chats and sharing documents anywhere. Sharing the
documents is very important to reach out the customer and Zimbra helps in that to share with
security.
Zimbra have two factor authentication features. It has email encryption to ensure the
security of the sensitive data. In recent times this online application significantly gained the
importance and reduced the physical contact between the participants and between the clients.
Employees understand the needs and desire of the client with this web (Faruq, Khaeruddin and
Lestandy, 2020). Zimbra web client users can create and collaborate using documents and
presentation inside the Zimbra.
In some organizations they have internal policies on how the employees can handle the
sensitive business information. To support their client's legal data's, Zimbra archive sensitive
information and quickly search to respond. It creates the copy shortcut in the calendar setting to
see an appointment same with as the invites and attachments (Sawant, 2021). Zimbra helps
companies to talk during the pandemic and discussing the work, this also helps software
companies to create task for the employees to fulfil their needs and desire of the company.
Zimbra also has a feature of cloud storage, can save emails attachments and can attach the same
file from the cloud to send. After the pandemic this change has led to better company

coordination with extensibility of the email system. With the help of Zimbra mail a manager can
also create a different calendar per employee with different task every day, a director also can
share the calendar with their assistant who can manage their appointment. The software users
faces the problems during the pandemic, but now they are starting to see the changes in these
categories which is most impacted by work from home.
Advantages, disadvantages, suitability and applications of cloud storage and computing in
improving digitalization
The cloud computing and storage has become important in the pandemic time in order to
manage the work of organizations and improve their interest in the business. These aspects may
be useful for the business in order to gain competitive advantage and improve the sustainability
of the business (Adee and Mouratidis, 2022). The introduction of these tools is slowly becoming
mandatory for business to manage their work in the highly competitive and digitalized working
environment. Ecommerce has become important in the modern business environment which
provides businesses with the ability to achieve better results.
Cloud Computing
Cloud computing is referred as a delivery of different computing services which includes
databases, servers, storage which offers faster innovation and flexible resources in order to
increase the speed and accuracy of work. It is a useful tool to lower the operating costs and
develop better infrastructure of the business. The main benefit of this service is that it is helpful
for the organization to reduce their expenses and increase their profitability. Business may be
able to increase their speed with the use of cloud computing tools that are convenient for
improving the overall productivity of the business. Companies are able to compete their work
efficiently with the help of these tools which is beneficial for gaining competitive advantage in
the industry.
There are certain disadvantage that have a negative impact on the organization such as
the theft or loss of crucial data by hackers or internet thieves that may have a negative impact on
the business. The leak of the significant information of a business may negatively impact its
development and reduce its growth opportunities in the industry (Bastida and et.al., 2019). This
may lead to technological vulnerability of the business to manage the different features which are
crucial for the achievement of crucial aims and objectives of the business.

The cloud computing tools and techniques are highly suitable for the business ion order
to remain sustainable in the dynamic business environment. It may provide companies with
better developmental opportunities for surviving in phenomenons like the pandemic
appropriately. In the modern business environment cloud computing is highly suitable for
increasing the performing ability of the business and provide them with better support. The SaaS,
PaaS, IaaS are certain cloud computing software that are appropriate for various businesses in
order to enhance their business framework and operate in a digitally stable business environment.
There are different applications of the cloud computing which are used to facilitate the
cloud computing appropriately (Fernández-Gutiérrez, Gimenez and Calero, 2020). The various
tools such as Big Data, Testing and development, Antivirus platforms, social networking
platforms etc. may get benefited with the help of cloud computing software. The features of this
cloud computing are applied in these applications for increasing the quality of output achieved
by the companies.

It is an effective model of cloud computing which helps the businesses to save their data
on the internet with the help of providers that operates and manages the data storage as a service
(Wang and et.al., 2020). It provides better assistance for data safety and security with the help of
the different online storage platforms provided by the service providers that are developed in a
specific manner. These platforms may provide various additional services with storage of the
data that provides people to increase their efficiency.
The cloud storage is beneficial to track and monitor the data effectively in order to
achieve better performance and store the data for life time. With the help of cloud storage people
and organizations are able to increase their productivity. It may provide the assistance to recover
the data that may be deleted or found to be missing. Cloud storage provides various options to
the companies in order to access the data from anywhere and conduct the business practices.
It has certain disadvantages as cloud storage requires internet in order to access the data
which may create limitations in order to successfully operate it everywhere. The unavailability of
internet may create issues for people to operate their data properly (Kaushik and Gandhi, 2019).
The security and privacy of the data is a major issue which may increase the risks of theft and
leak of the crucial information which is inappropriate.

Cloud storage is suitable for businesses in the current working environment to give
quicker results, accessibility at different locations has been useful in the Covid-19 scenario.
Businesses have been able to successfully operate with the help of cloud storage and improve
their overall productivity.
There are different applications which are used for cloud storage such as Icloud,
Dropbox, Google Drive that provide storage services o the internet (Kumar, Raj and Jelciana,
2018). These applications are useful in securing data and increasing the quality of work that is
produced by the business.
Privacy and security challenges with possible measures to improve the condition
Organizations have faced various challenges of theft and leakage of their data during the
pandemic which create various issue for properly operating them. The cyber attacks from various
hackers have degraded the stability of the businesses in the market and reduces that ability to
manage the overall business activities. There are different viruses which are used by the hackers
which may disrupt the information systems of the organizations and reduce their ability to
operate properly. Ransomware are referred as the attackers which encrypts the crucial data of an
organization and then demands for payment in order to correct their data. The organizations are
forced to pay compensation to these cyber-attackers in order to secure their crucial information
(Kuzio, 2018). These attackers may have a negative impact on businesses due to their ability of
getting access to the personal data of businesses and using it inappropriately.
Cryptojacking is another method which is used to get access o0f the personal systems
and computers by providing them with a clickable link that is developed to infect their computer.
Various methods are used in this process to corrupt the system of an individual or organization in
order to mine cryptocurrencies. This may lead to loss of capital for the victims which may have a
significant impact on their sustainability. The risks of data breaches may arise due to negligence
of the companies which may expose their sensitive information to the hackers. The stakeholders
of the organization who have access to the data may share this information for the disinterest of
the business as it may reduce its ability to gain competitive advantage in the industry (Lange,
Pohl and Santarius, 2020). These inappropriate practices by these people may have a negative
impact on the organization which may create different issues in management of the business.

Benefits and limitations of local networks
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has led to the global negligence of different
companies towards Russia. They are discontinuing their services in the country and closing their
supply in the region. This war has lead to several sanctions on the country by different
governments of the world. Several popular cyber hacking organizations have been trying to
encrypt the crucial data of Russia and start a cyber war in the support of Ukraine. Due to these
reasons, Russia is trying to develop their own internet which can save their crucial information
and help them to operate sustainably (Namasudra, 2019). With the help of their personal internet

services, Russia may be able to secure their data breach and improve their current condition in
the society. There are several benefits and limitations of this step for the country which are as
follows:
Benefits
The major benefit of the step of Russia to introduce their personal network is that it may
provide them with a better control over the communication in the nation. A personal internet
service may provide more power to the government to reduce the data breaches and have a
secure communication environment in the country. The government may be able to reduce the
impact of several issues that may have a negative impact on the country. The government of
Russia may be able to track the activities that are being undertaken by people in the nation in
order to have a surveillance system over the traitors who are leaking the information in their
nation.
By introducing their personal internet, Russia may be able to monitor the
miscommunication of data in their country which may circulate on various digital platforms
(Usman and et.al., 2021). With the help of these practices, the government may reduce the
negative influence of these activities on the Russian population which may create a negative
image of the country among their citizens. It may provide the country to reduce the inappropriate
practices undertaking by different organizations on the significant data of the nation. The data
management of the business may be appropriate with the help of these practices that provides
better assistance to the management to gain appropriate advantage.
Limitations
The personal internet services will have adverse impact on Russia by decreasing the
ability to operate in the global environment. The businesses will not be able to connect with the
global organizations which may decrease the profitability in the market and have a negative
impact on their overall development. It can create barriers in the global supply chain which is not
appropriate in order to gain benefit in the global environment. The management of various
aspects may not be able to be executed to these impacts of the personal internet services are to be
introduced in Russia. The citizens may not be able to properly communicate in the global
environment and may be unaware of the global trends that are happening in a daily basis. The
government may fabricate some information for the citizens which may lead to misinformation
that will be provided to the citizens (Vu, Hanafizadeh and Bohlin, 2020). They will be

disconnected with the world which may have serious repercussions on their personal rights to
gain the required information about the global happening and activities. The personal internet
may create several issues for the government and citizens of Russia in order to maintain their
relationships with their global businesses.
CONCLUSION
According to the above report it has been concluded that different tools and techniques
are beneficial for the businesses to survive in the Covid-19 pandemic and increase their growth
opportunities. The cloud storage and cloud computing have been beneficial for te businesses to
manage their data and conduct the business practices despite the negative impact of the
pandemic. It has been convenient for the organizations to improve their stability in the industry
and gain a significant market share in the difficult times of the pandemic. There have been
several challenges and issues that has a negative impact on security of the business. These
aspects are managed by appropriately monitoring the sensitive data and using updated software
for work. The local network that has been found to be inappropriate for Russia as it can have
serious repercussions in their supply chain management and disconnect them with the global
stakeholders.
