INTRODUCTION Academic writing is define as the kind of writing which is done to fulfil the requirement of specific topic student received in college and University (Academic Writing, 2019). This writing must be concise, descriptive, clear, well structure and must have specific evidence that support in increasing reader understanding. In this essay, definition of plagiarism and importance of academic integrityrelated with professionalism is discussed. In addition, ways of avoiding plagiarism in business setting is discussed. In present scenario, the process related with copying of specific evidence relate to particular topic and then presenting the same to large number of audience without authentic referencing is known as Plagiarism (Bunney, Sharplin and Howitt, 2015). For an individual it is very important to avoid plagiarism when academic writing on a topic or make a proper citing when copying any evidence. A study of academic researchers has created a classification of plagiarism forms with regard to the seriousness and rate of academic dishonesty. Plagiarism is a major issue. in case if student are found plagiarizing they can have severe results on their future career as something of a professional. To contrast to the educational viewpoint, plagiarism often hurts the degree in which a learner can learn during years of academic research. Although the most severe crime is full plagiarism, paraphrasing is the most frequent. In the meantime, it has been observed that internet help in extracting the best information about the academic topic but at the same time it has increased the chances of plagiarism. Thus, it is stated that plagiarism directly represent the illiteracy of student, which simply means that they are unable to express their own thoughts and ideas in context of a work. This is because writer easily get the same information and they usually copy it from the source thus, internet is consider to be double edged sword which on one side have reduce the time and effort and on the other side increase the plagiarism. Nonetheless, the digital world has made it easier to identify plagiarism but has gave rise to a whole new industry that is related with buying of online essay and assignment. Since the online web has introduced new ways of writing and modern citation criteria, graduates now have the challenge of learning many kinds of citation forms. In present business environment, it has been observed that ethics is consider to be the most crucial substance and significant issues. It is noticed that a business individual are basically measured not according to the working ability but also by their integrity and professional approach towards specific work. In simple words, the concept of academic integrity is related to 1
on the value of implementing the self standard or principle which make easier for an individual to perform a specific work in right manner in case if other are absent (Assiter, 2017). Therefore, it is stated that academic integrity is most important element for a professionalism as it support in developing the the trust among the team member and manager within an organisation. It is important for a business success that staff and manager trust each other and provide support on respective decision in order to lead the company ans reach the actual outcome. The importance of academia integrity also support a graduate to develop a high personal integrity that make more clear and better chance of being employed in particular business. It is noticed that manager mainly prefer the propel those have a better positive approach to do a specific business task and can make better plans and ideas which might develop the productivity and profitability of business at specific time. Furthermore, academic integrity is also important for developing self confidence among individual so that they can accept any certain business task on believing on themselves and meet the objective with their own skills and abilities. For example, Jennifer was given an opportunity to attend the history class which was part of her semester. She was asked to write a report about summary of different artist on the basis of exhibition which she attend during his course work (Real life business example,2019). Basically she read number of articles to get the in depth knowledge about artist and agree with the same thought of different authors. As a result it is consider to be plagiarism as Jennifer agree with the thought of other authors and most important copy work from other and represent in class. Thus, it has been stated that if Jennifer make the same step after being engaged in a business then she might face some serious problem regarding loss of job, salary deduction etc. Plagiarism is a serious problem in academic writing thus it is needed to be resolved on specific time to improve the quality of writing. Some of these steps are discussed below: Individual can find a group of successful leading research experts on several projects. Collaborating with a talented team would give them a wealth of skills and knowledge. Students are required to make proper citation which is most crucial for an academic writing as it would not reduce the value of specific article (Seabrooke and Nilsson, 2015).
