Step 1: Analyze - The
Consequences
As per the case study, the statistical database programmer named Jaspreet is facing the difficulties in
submitting the work on time where he gets the help from co-workers and become successful in completing
the assignment or work. On another side, Jaspreet manager Araina do not focus on employee satisfaction
and forces them to complete and submit their work on time from where the employee can lose the faith
on her. Jaspreet uses someone else coding, if the company founds him they can put the legal action against
him which will be very risky and difficulty for him to move forward in his professional career. In this entire
situation, Jaspreet can face the ACS conducting penalties as he shows someone else as work as his own
which is absolutely illegal to be performed (Anwar, Gill and Beydoun, 2018).
Step 2: Analyze - The
Actions
According to the case study, if Jaspreet founds guilty of showing someone else work of his own can create
a huge problem for him where the company can file a case against him. The ACS term simple refers as
Australian Computer Sysytem where the people have to consider its ethics and values which denotes
honesty, competence, the primacy of the public interest, improvement of quality of life, enhancement of
professional development and professionalism. Understanding these concepts and implementing the
ethics by the Jaspreet can save himself by not getting lose his job. If he found guilty then he has to face
many difficulties like penalties as can be fires from the company, lose their license and lose of reputation.
Step 3: Make A Decision In the case study, it has been stated that Jaspreet has done unethical thing at their company due to work
pressure he felt from the manager. By learning from this incident, Jaspreet has to make sure that this
incident must not repeat again and if someone do this then he or she can be fired from the company and
legal action also can be taken by the company. Thus, each employee should focus on the ethics of ACS and
perform at workplace (Nwosu, John, Izang and Akorede, 2018).

Competence: The term competence is core principle of the ethical conduct where an employee only has to accept those work which they can
perform well and do not hesitate to obtain the expertise and can be come adviser able. This code is ensuring to understand the limitations of
your own and can complete the task in successful manner (Liaw, Kuziemsky, Schreiber, Jonnagaddala, and et,al, 2021). According to the case
study, Jaspreet should not perform unethical working at the workplace a sit is beyond the legal process.

The Enhancement of Quality of Life: The manager Ariana has to focus on the employee satisfaction area from which they can be able to feel
good to share something from her. The improper interaction of the manager with their employee make the Jaspreet to breach the company
laws and legislation and cannot be able to enhance his quality of life. Personal satisfaction is one of the main thing which an individual should
keep focus on.

Honesty: Each and individual person should be careful at their workplaces and must not breach any public trust in their professionalism. Trust
is one of the main factor that makes the company to feel satisfied by having such honest employee at their workplace. In the case study,
Jaspreet has done wrong and breach the trust of the company which is against the ACS code.
