Abstract
Stakeholder plays a critical role in the development and growth of any business process
or organization. Hence the management of the process should consider their importance and
must involve their role in the organization. They show their interests in completing the
implementation of services into business organizations. Stakeholder shows their interests in the
project and in different ways they provide their support to particular organization but for this the
management should have to influence them with suitable information and benefits which can be
observed through the project. According to the given case study which provides the history of
ISS clinic to manage the records and information of patient, where the clinic was using paper
recording till the date when it combines with University of California as its stakeholder for the
implementation of EMR system in clinic. The EMR system was costly and not easy to operate by
the clinic. In order to implement the technology the management has to influence the
stakeholders for showing their interests in the project.
The management of the clinic wants to develop the relationship between their clinic and
the stakeholders and for this, they need to create a positive impact on the EMR system by
influencing the members who had examined and observed the working. For concluding the
results management team of the clinic use different methods in which they performed practices
on the patients who were infected from HIV by the ART as the number of patients in Africa were
higher hence it was found that reports were getting delayed as well as it was difficult for the
follow up with patients. In these practices four stakeholders of the clinic were also chosen. ISS
clinic used two practices in which paper records and electronic registry were included. In the
paper records the patients had to provide their identification number in the case when the patient
already visited the clinic in past and the nurse had to check the number in their paper records.
ISS used the same records for compiling reports to provide them to stakeholders. The report
includes information about the number of patient clinics was treating an entire outcome of their
treatment. The management team of ISS worked with the UCSF team in the electronic registry
where the data of the clinic was accessed through the electronic form and it was observed that for
this there is no requirement for hiring any additional staff for maintaining the records. For the
stakeholders the clinical management can explain the importance and benefits through the EMR
system implementation that can be introduced to them and for the development of the clinic. The
