Introduction
San Luis Obispo (SLO) has been chosen to implement the healthcare plans and policies. Shift in
demand, a number of regional disparities and the growth rate of the older population have
compelled the city officials to change their healthcare policies. The study will implement some
strategies, goals and actions on the transportation activity of the city, thus, focusing on the local
airport and also the development of the parks of the surrounding areas. The regional airport of
San Luis Obispo was planned properly. The city is in the outskirts of California with a population
3 lac. The identified diseases that most of the 3 lac people of SLO facing are a cardiovascular
problem, diabetes, Alzheimer, cancer, chronic respiratory problem, influenza, liver disease,
accidents, and suicides. Additionally, the low life expectancy of the male population is
considered to be a major problem for SLO. Goals, policies, and actions of both the issues will be
the key features of the study. The concluding part will summarize the whole study.

Rationale
The study is based on rational facts because it is necessary to implement the land use and
healthcare plans for the community health development. Moreover, it is also necessary to create
land use policies to develop existing usable lands that have a strong impact on community
healthcare development. Furthermore, the increase in cardiovascular problems and breathing
problems can be reduced by creating effective environmental policies and development of
healthcare safety measures in SLO.

Parks should be brought under the city planning for the beautification keeping in accordance with land
use planning

1) Parks should be built and maintained in the
SLO city as it may help in the maintenance
of the holistic health care of the citizens.

policy. The park should be full of greenery that helps in improving the respiratory and the
circulatory systems of the body. Citizens of SLO should exercise regularly so that it should help
in the reduction of obesity and development of the mental health of the people. These policies
should help in the holistic development of the health of the citizen of SLO.
Conclusion
The study has discussed the importance of the healthcare issues and problems related to the
airports' transportation development and development of the recreational park. The healthcare
