Introduction
Academic skills play an important role in the life of the student as it helps them to
achieve their set goals into reality. It is important for every student to develop their personal
branding and networking so that they can use it in order to achieve their ultimate goals of life
(Aveni, 2019). The report discussed personal branding in networking with respect to their
importance in context to career development and employability. There are several strategies
which can be used by the students in order to develop personal branding and networking.
Career development and employability
Personal Branding is the most conscious and intentional efforts which are used by the
individual in order to develop and influence the public prescriptions bye positioning themselves
as an authority into the industry. It is also helpful in order to evaluate their credibility in the
competitive market. It is a kind of a process which helps in finding the uniqueness, building a
reputation in the competitive market for which the people used to know about and then allowing
yourself to become known for them (Burger and Naudé, 2019). It plays an important role in the
life of the people as when they have a good brand image as a good human it will be helpful in
order to satisfy their desires in an effective manner. It is a kind of reputation which was
possessed by the individual in the market.
It plays an important role with the views of the employees as it helps them to recruit the
more popular candidates with the help of social media platforms. In today's scenario almost
many of the organisations use to hire the candidates with respect to their social media (Canda,
2018). The recruiters used to check the current profiles of their candidates in order to determine
their lifestyle and review it accordingly. Companies also use it to motivate their employees to
build a strong personal brand so that it is beneficial for their business also. The good branding
helps the employee to represent their companies into the competitive market which helps them to
explore more and acquire new customers and use them in order to retain the existing ones.
There are several strategies which help the individual to develop their personal branding
with the help of developing their online presence which helps the other person to identify them.
As in today's scenario everyone is technologically friendly and uses such social media platforms
