INTRODUCTION
In such a competitive business environment and technology there are different tools and
techniques available. With help of technology it has become easy for business to maintain and
improve their efficiency (Kerstein, 2020). Moreover, technology has ease process of business
operation and increase productivity. Now, for every process different software and applications
are used. IT has allowed in storing large data and fastening process. Beside that, ICT tools has
enabled in enhancing communication within various departments. The overall business functions
are transformed. Alongside, continuous innovation in procedure and methods has allowed them
to compete in the market for long term.
The present assignment will describe about range of tools and techniques that can be used to
improve business efficiency in Mo’s Meals. Furthermore, some recommendations will be
explained about enhancing exiting business system.

In every business, there are various tools and techniques which is been used. The use of
tools enables them to integrate operations and complete complex tasks in effective way.

profits. In Mo’s Meals there are several systems which is used by them. In management system
the director supervises production function and it consists of 12 cooks and assistants. Here,
company can install a new system that is MIS (Rodger, 2020).
MIS- The management information system will enable in gathering data and making quick
decisions. it will store data and information which gives insight to director that what decision can
be taken. besides that, cooks and assistant can easily access information about their daily tasks
and number of orders received. Also, MIS will be helpful in preparing daily schedule according
to the deadline of order. Furthermore, with help of MIS it is easy for director to send quick and
instant message to all employees. This will ease in communication process. Alongside, MIS will
be useful in keeping records of pending orders, transactions, etc. Through it, entire business
functions of Mo’s Meals will be integrated with one another. The function will become,

all types of transactions. it will store information of daily orders, total bill of customers, payment
made, etc. (David, Judd and Zambuto, 2020) Moreover, both admin and finance function can
communicate data and info and access it easily. Thus, it will enhance business efficiency of
organisation as they will be able to produce meals on basis of order deadline. However, the
overall function will be automated. Along with it, both internal and external transaction that is
customers as well as suppliers are recorded and stored in proper way.
Enterprise resource planning – it is the best and common tool that can be used to enhance
business efficiency. the model enables in integrating all business application. Also, the tool
shares common model that automate multiple process within business. The ERP deliver end to
end process in business operations like HR, supply chain, distribution, production, etc. It will
provide a platform to manage assets. All the functions are integrated into one system that
streamline entire process within organisation. ERP uses a centralised database where all data is
stored. Similarly, ERP will highly support Mo’s Meals in integrating their functions. For
instance, finance, admin, production, etc. will be able to work together in efficient way. Through
it, from order receiving till its final delivery to consumers will be processed in systematic way.
The raw material requirement will be identified on basis of total order received. Furthermore, on
basis of per day order, schedule will be prepared.
