aspects of business enterprise. A project business case helps in reflecting why an organization
starts the project. In simple terms it demonstrates an analysis of benefits and cost to make the
changes for gaining sustaining results. This report undertakes the business project of LTR
Company that is a leading housing association operating business in Luton. This report presents
reason, issues, business options, benefits, dis-benefits, timescale; cost factors are included within
the business case of project.

INTRODUCTION
The crucial of any business project is preparing project business case. It is a heart of any
project that outlines the justification for undertaking the project within an organization (de los
Reyes Jr and Scholz, 2019). This project business case is based on LTR that is a housing
operating in Luton with a mission of offering suitable housing for local society for supporting the
vulnerable individuals. This business was operated on a central office which is situated in Luton
Town Centre. The LTR also owns and manages various distinct housing blocks, supported
housing like emergency hostel for single youth aged 16-25,two hostels for young moths aged 16-
25, transitional flats for 16-18 years old leaving care. The company having separate general
purpose housing that are responsible for tracking and managing issues within the own area. In
this company all departments are working separately and use communication application tool
accordingly. In LTR, email is used for communication where employees have issues about
understanding the task. Due to COVID 19 major disruption was occurred within company. the
aim of conducting this project is to develops the project business case on communication and
collaboration tool which are ineffective while working in remote area. The main aim of
conducting this report is to solve the issue that pertain within LTR and affects its efficiency and
effectiveness within marketplace. The main issue is based on the communication and
collaboration within organization because of pandemic. As due to COVID 19 locked down is to
be implemented within many countries due to which companies provides work from home to
their employees (Polonsky and Waller, 2018). Only those employees are go on site who provides
supports to the customers related to their housing.
REASONS

The major issue that was faced by the employees of LTR in Luton Town centre is the
remote working that occurs due to the COVI 19 attack on the world (Osagie and et.al.,
2019). Due to COVID 19 impact several departments such as finance, customer service
team, general administration staff, senior management team are working from home but
facility maintenance team and supported housing personal coach are working mainly by
going to site this will demotivates them towards working and because of this
collaboration of working is also affected.
Another reason for developing the project business case is to facing issues on internal
communication and collaboration system at LTR. This issue mainly faced in the general
administration department where members are facing difficulty to connect with the
remote working who are doing their job on site. Because they use emails for
communication ether formal or informal. Therefore, it overloads the mails and because of
this many time general administration department missed the important information. In
this management team reflects that emails is worst to check the operational level status
whereas facilities departments state that emails is poor tool to communicating the work
orders and managing repair request (Sze and et.al., 2020).
Customer service department face the issue in finding information of customers within
excel sheet because of large number of documents. This will affect the working of team
based on solving customer’s issues. In this many staff members reflect that using ZOOM
for meetings because of pandemic is sometimes become lengthy that will fail to solve the
issues related to communication and collaboration between the departments at all levels.
BUSINESS OPTIONS
After examine the reasons for conducting this project business case, LTR head manager
decided to organize a hall meeting to provide solutions for the issues that are examine
(Breitbarth, Schaltegger and Mahon, 2018). These business options are demonstrated on three set
of options that are do nothing, do the minimum we can and do something else that helps in
overcoming the issues effectively and efficiently.
Do nothing option- In LTR, to solve the current problem they does not invest huge
amount but the solution which they adopts are expensive in nature. To solve current
issues company would invest of amount £3000.

The reflection report is associated with my experiences that supports to developing the
several skills such as numeracy skill, communication skill, ICT skill, problem solving skill and
working with others along with their applications when it comes to enhance the employability.
In today’s competitive world these skills are highly essential for setting an effective professional
career within marketplace (Glassburn, McGuire and Lay, 2019). To reflect my experience I want
to use Gibbs reflective cycle that has several stages which are useful to me to deal with the
situation by examine strength and weaknesses within me.
REFLECTION
To reflect the self-analysis I have to use Gibbs reflection model. This model was
developed by Graham Gibbs in 1988 that gives the structure to learning from experience, feeling
and thoughts related to experiences (Markkanen and et. al., 2020). Following stages of Gibbs
reflection are demonstrated below that reflects my experience, feeling, actions, evaluation while
learning.
The first stage is description where a person describes their experience that leads to
developing the concerned skills (Snowdon, 2018). In this I want to discuss my experience related
to skills that are mentioned above. The first skill is numeracy skill in which I have core
understanding of numeracy before I had involved in seminar activities. I had interest in how data
and facts are to be formulated that helps me in involving in seminar activities where I had
involved in collection of data and statistics. It presents relevant information about the topic.
Another skill is communication and problem solving skills where I had good writing
communication skill as compared to oral communication to learn oral communication skills I had
to involve in presentation session. To develop problem solving skill my faculty give me a case
study to write in which I want to examine the issues that helps in encouraging problem solving
skills. To become a best in oral communication skill I would take classes, make interaction with
people, participate in presentation. By involving in communication session I would interact with

reflects the experience working in team which is quite interesting. During this time me
classmates tells me that focusing on developing these skills helps in gaining profitable results in
employability. Due to this I used to think that I want to develop all my skills during learning by
involving in this module where I had learned concepts and knowledge related to communication,
problem solving, numeracy, team working skills that helps me to present myself in front of large
audience.
Second stage states thoughts and feeling about learning experience that I would associate
with basic five skills. The only thought that was arising during my learning experience is that
how these skills are helpful to develops employability. I always had an issue in speaking in front
of large audience before understanding the importance of oral communication I would never try
to work on my hesitation. At initial time I am not feeling comfortable. By involving in module I
acquired theoretical knowledge along with active participation in group discussion, presentation I
needed to develop my oral communication skill. To developed problem solving skills I involved
in analysis and information gatherings so that overall problem skill is too developed. To
developed ICT skills I would be involved in regular practice of Microsoft programs that also
helps in providing several solutions related to solving the issues. I this I also feel that my
faculties are highly supportive that boost confidence related to developed this skills. Due to this
it was a best feeling that I have experienced.
The third stage is evaluation where I had evaluated positive and negative aspect of
learning from experience (Fathelrahman, 2019). During my learning at classroom, I would gain
all theoretical knowledge as well as practical understanding which are essential for developing
my communication, ICT, Numeracy, problem solving, team working skills for developing
growth of employability purpose. In this, which I was missing is the revision session to brush my
core understanding. For this I want to actively participate in revision session that is associated
with seminar, presentations, data and statistics, regular practice on Microsoft programs, weekly
participation in analysis to examine issues and resolving it. In terms of negativity I was evaluated
that my fear and hesitation which was resolved by taking active practice that helps in developing
employability.

Second stage states thoughts and feeling about learning experience that I would associate
with basic five skills. The only thought that was arising during my learning experience is that
how these skills are helpful to develops employability. I always had an issue in speaking in front
of large audience before understanding the importance of oral communication I would never try
to work on my hesitation. At initial time I am not feeling comfortable. By involving in module I
acquired theoretical knowledge along with active participation in group discussion, presentation I
needed to develop my oral communication skill. To developed problem solving skills I involved
in analysis and information gatherings so that overall problem skill is too developed. To
developed ICT skills I would be involved in regular practice of Microsoft programs that also
helps in providing several solutions related to solving the issues. I this I also feel that my
faculties are highly supportive that boost confidence related to developed this skills. Due to this
it was a best feeling that I have experienced.
The third stage is evaluation where I had evaluated positive and negative aspect of
learning from experience (Fathelrahman, 2019). During my learning at classroom, I would gain
all theoretical knowledge as well as practical understanding which are essential for developing
my communication, ICT, Numeracy, problem solving, team working skills for developing
growth of employability purpose. In this, which I was missing is the revision session to brush my
core understanding. For this I want to actively participate in revision session that is associated
with seminar, presentations, data and statistics, regular practice on Microsoft programs, weekly
participation in analysis to examine issues and resolving it. In terms of negativity I was evaluated
that my fear and hesitation which was resolved by taking active practice that helps in developing
employability.

Fourth stage is analysis of situation that helps in drawing conclusion next stage. From
above evaluation it is analyzed that positive aspects present in module helps in overcoming the
issues that I have faced regarding these skill. I had keen interest in developing all above skills by
spending time in attending sessions within module. Involving in this module helps in gaining
knowledge and understanding related to these skills along with enhances my confidence and
reduce hesitation. I have grateful to learn these skills as it enhance my employability in future.
Fifth stage is conclusion which is based on evaluation and analysis that I had experienced
while associating with these skills. As per this it is concluded that there is high competition
present in market due to which a person needs several skills to sustain in professional life.
Gaining the knowledge within these skills helps me to get a job opportunity in my interested
field within reputed company. All these skills are very effective in enhancing my career
throughout my whole life.
CONCLUSION
From above analysis it is to be concluded that reflection is very crucial for self-analyzing
the skills and experience of an individual person. In this I would learn several skills such as
communication skill, numeracy skills, problem solving skills, ICT skills, working with other skill
