EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project in consideration will have major impact on the client enterprise because it will
automate the process and in the process enhance their productive capability. The introduction
of the online training module will also cite progressive effective and efficient results on the
software. The online training will also lead to enhancement of the software capabilities that
will ultimately lead to increase in security of the system along with the productivity of the
organisation. Hence, it would be justified to state that the system adoption will prove to be
beneficial for the organisation and will cite positive impact.

Overview of Scope
Adding the on-line training will have major impact on the project as the budget and
schedule needs to be rescheduled. The software developers will have to be added extra
responsibility for which they will have to be paid additional amount. Additionally, the
development schedule need to be restructured because the time allotted to the coordination of
the training date and time, conference room acquiring and other physical training
requirements will be mitigated. The days involved in the training activities will be reduced
while the time frame for the software developers will have to be increased. However, the time
and finance involved in the resource collection for the training along with the development of
the plan will remain unchanged. The reason for the above stated statement lays base on the
fact that the software developers are good at coding and software development however, the
same cannot be quoted about their training skills. Hence, they will need the guidance of the
training experts and the project requirements to digitalise the training resources.
Overview of costs
The cost of introducing the online training system will not incur any additional cost or
will incur very little cost. The reason associated with the above stated fact is associated with
the cost that will be reduced due to the omitting of the physical training. The trainer’s fees,
trainer’s transport along with the cost associated with the training conference and other
trainer associated cost will be reduced. However, the trainer consultation cost and training
resource course will be stay intact. Additionally, the cost associated with the training resource
conversion into digital format and storing it will incur extra cost. The cost will be associated
with the increase in size of the database, more channels to support large scalability &
connectivity and others. The above discussed cost can be managed by the amount saved from
physical training removal. While, the speeding up of project to meet the new deadline will
incur additional costs because, additional resources and human effort will have to be induced
to meet up the new deadline. Hence, it can be stated that the overall change will need extra
budget requirement.
Resource/Time requirement
The new demands can be met only by introducing additional resources and will even
cite the demand to upgrade the capability of existing resources. As stated in the section above
the changes will require additional cost which will be associated with enhancing the storing
& processing capability of the proposed system. There will be need to enlarge the size of the
storage device, the number of routers, switches and other server associated components along
with the number of system peripherals and others.
The feasibility of speeding up the project processes to complete the project earlier
than the required deadline is not completely feasible in nature but can be done with additional
resources and effort. The additional cost will increase according to the effort invested by the
software development team.
Recommendations
If the changes are approved then the project plan, budget and schedule will need to be
revised according to the changes. To make the necessary changes the “crashing” principle of
the project management will be used. However, additional resources will be equipped rather
than compromising on the quality or requirements of the project. The first additional
resources that will be equipped as part of the project will be assistance from new software
developers capable of working under pressure and completing the task within assigned

deadline. Another one of the step that needs to be equipped is to develop a schedule for the
testing of the software at every stage because shorter timeframe may compromise on the
quality and it will be better if the error is determined in the initial stage rather than at the final
stage. Additionally, the resources bid request will also be published immediately and the
work will be initialised.
