INTRODUCTION
Project management is defined as an application of processes, knowledge, methods as
well as experience to attain particular project objectives as per the set criteria and parameters. It
is basically a discipline of initiating, effective planning, implementation & managing all the
resources in order to achieve project deliverables within the time and budget as well (Kerzner,
2017). This project is based on creating webinars that will enhance human resource
development. This is a video workshop that is basically based on healthy food includes how to
maintain balance diet, measures of taking proteins and vitamins on daily basis, recipes with low
cholesterol and so on. The report will address stakeholders concern. Cost & benefit realisation
and project execution challenges. In addition to this, it cover the risk and time associated with the
project plan by using tools such work breakdown structure.
Business Case
Business Problem
The business problem is that a company needs to conduct webinars in order to make sure that
they are focusing on healthy living and eating. This is necessary as health problems in
employees leads to decline in their productivity. In order to spread awareness and increase
employees knowledge about healthy living they need to carry out a business project in which
they will educate employees.
Benefits
Successful conduction of webinar will help in making employees aware about their
health. They can live a happy and healthy life. It will encourage and motivate employees to do
better. This will reduce absenteeism amongst employees as most of the times health is mentioned
as a factor for taking leave from work. Fit and healthy employees who have been eating healthy
will effectively work towards success (Fleming and Koppelman, 2016). This will reduce errors
and increase productivity of employees as well.

Stakeholders Analysis
Stakeholders analysis is a process in which various stakeholders present in a company are
identified. They are then grouped on the basis of their interest, participation, power as well as
expectations from the organisation. Stake holder analysis is further discussed:
High Power, High Interest: They are those stakeholder in an organisation who should
be treated as priority. When considering the following project they have high interest as well as
their authority over project is also high. They usually are owner of the project. In the following
case Director as well as General manager of company will fall in this category of stakeholders.
High Power, Low Interest: These are the stakeholders who have high power over
business or project and are to be kept informed as well as satisfied so that there powers are used
positively. It is necessary that limited communication is kept with these stakeholders to keep up
their interest. These stakeholders are investors of webinar as well as sponsors.
Low Power, High Interest: These are those shareholders on which company focuses and
tries to keep them satisfied. It is necessary that communication with these stakeholders is
maintained so that they do not loose interest. Various suppliers for the webinars (Heagney, 2016)
(Badewi, 2016). Speakers coming to seminars will be included in this category (Wang and et. al.,
2020).
Low Power, Low Interest: They are last to stand in category of stakeholders and they
just require periodical information about the project. They can be staff working for company
managing the event, guards, maintenance team etc.
Communication Plan
The interest and power of stakeholders help project manager in specifically circulating
data to them from time to time. It is necessary that stakeholders are effectively communicated
with the tasks and progress made in project from time to time. Below mentioned is a well

Major objective to take this project is to conduct successful webinars for employees.
Reasons behind this step is to make sure that employees are aware about healthy eating and
living. This will help in generating more productivity from employees by keeping them healthy
mentally as well as physically:
It is required by the management and project manager to make sure that they are
completing this project within 6 months with an amount of £50,000 so that they can effectively
encourage their employees.
Once the project is successful organisation may effectively use their human resource up
to their maximum utilisation. It also effectively allows employees to create a healthy and
hygienic environment at workplace. Organisation may also experience reduction in employee
turnover rate which will in turn save its recruitment cost (Smirnova and et. al., 2019).
Work Breakdown Structure
WBS
Work breakdown structure is a process in which various tasks of a project are broken
down into various small activities. It helps the project manager to effectively divide the tasks in
between the team members effectively. Organisation of various factors in project is supported by
work breakdown structure (Rowe, 2020). A schedule can be effectively developed by project
manager and they can keep on checking regularly weather they are working as per pre decided
schedule or not.
It helps in predetermining any risk factor that can occur while completion of project.
When taking the following project of conducting webinars into consideration manager is

dividing the heavy tasks into a number of options so that they can easily monitor weather the
project is moving as per the plan which was developed for it or not. At the end work breakdown
structure makes it possible to complete the whole project effectively. In the following project
tasks are divided by manager into four stages that include Initiation, Planning. Execution and
Control activities.

 Foundation refers to setting up a bottom line to begin the project.
Planning stage:
 At this stage various meeting of management will take place to discuss requirement and
execution plan for the project.
Execution stage:
 Hiring of experience dietitian who will be guiding employees.
 Assigning of task to project members in the team as per their skills and experiences.
 Development and recording of videos which will be used to conduct webinars.
 Training to project team members who will help in coordinating various tasks of the
event.
 Video graphic analysis will be done to edit and make the videos more attractive for
employees.
 Promotion of Webinars will be done in organisation.
 Schedule for forecasting of webinars which will be distributed amongst employees who
will be participating.
Execution and Control
 Miscellaneous work – After the task is completed, there are different other activities
required to be take place. This will involve installation of desktop, arrangement of all the
cables and equipments, speaker and many more.
Risk Management
It is defined as the process of analysing the level of risk, assessing them & control all the
threats associated with the project. While developing a new project, it is determine that there are
various types of risk related with it such as financial risk, time risk, marketing risk and so on. It
is important for an entity and individual to analyse the level of risk before implementing project
in market (Gegenfurtner, Zitt and Ebner, 2020). It will help in developing effective strategies and
reduce the level of risk in an effective manner. At the time of developing new project of
Webinars on healthy food, there are various issues and threats associated with it.
Risk Plan
It is consider as a technique which is used by companies to analyse the level risk and its
impact on the project performance in a proper manner. By the assistance of such approach, it is

determine that the project manager can reduce risk which has positive influence on the
performance of project. It is analysed that if the risk is analysed before implementation then it
save the cost and time of project manager.
Identifying Risk – It is stated that risk management plan assist in analysing the risk in a
proper manner and also suggest different measures to decline and overcome with such risk.
Herein, the project manager who are developing and managing food webinar project will analyse
risk and also develop effective strategies accordingly.
High quality of work – It is analysed that managing risk effectively will not only assist in

Gantt Chart
It is defined as an statistical tool that is used to showcase the schedule of a particular
project in a proper manner. In addition to this, such chart is mainly develop to draw the

relationship among various activities & project scheduled status. In this present project, the time
needed to complete all the activities and finish project properly is 6 months. Further, it is
analysed that Gantt chart show all the activities that is from project initiation to the project
completion in a proper manner. The activities mentioned in the project is getting start after the
approval and completion of documentation process,.

Critical Path
It is defined as the sequence of project activities that add up to the longest of overall
duration. In addition to this, it help in determining the shortest possible time to finish of a
project. In the present report, the critical path associated with the project of developing webinars
on healthy food is discussed. The critical path assist in providing direction of completion of
different activities of project (Knipfer and et. al., 2019). In addition to this, it also assist in
gaining insight about the maximum time needed for completion of project so that activities is
planned and implement accordingly. Moreover, it provides other features such total float which
represent unused time within a critical path.
Cost benefit analysis
 It is defined as a method used by companies which measures the amount of benefit of
activity like finance income. In addition to this, such method is mainly adopt when determining a
particular course of action that consist of monetary values for opportunity costs and expected
revenues in its computations. In relation to the present project, analysis of estimated cost is given
below:

From the above mentioned tables, it is sated that the estimated cost for the present project
is approx 50000 pounds that show the figure is around 50K pounds. It is significant for
project manager to keep operational cost lower in order to gain positive results.

 Estimated benefit: It is basically a value which is generated by a project in the coming
time period. In addition to this, it mainly depends on quality project and how it is
completed. It is analysed that if a project is finished in an appropriate manner then there
is high chances of higher returns. In relation of the above project, the estimated benefit is
approx 60000 pounds.
 Cost benefit analysis: PV of estimated benefit / PV of estimated cost
In the context of above project, there are below mentioned data on the basis of that value of cost
benefit analysis is computed in such manner-

Project Execution Challenges
At the time of implementation of project, there are various challenges that project
managers and members can face. In relation to the present project, there are various challenges
that impact on the overall implementation of project plan. For instance, lack of funds and time. If
there is no proper funds then project might be nor finished on time period. Another challenge can
be lack of knowledge and experience as it directly impact on the performance of overall project
and might leads to project failure. If the project is not deliver in a proper manner, them there is
low chance human personal development through webinars (Smirnova and et. al., 2019). It is
significant for the project manager to ensure and check all the activities implemented by project
members as it help in effective implementation of activities and completion of project on time.

Conflict between the project members is also consider as a challenge so it is essential for project
to focus on maintaining good relationship with them. The present project is on development of
webinars on healthy so there is chance of occurrence of technical issues so it is important for
project manager to emphasis on proper implementation of session without any interruptions and
issues as well.
CONCLUSION
From the above study, it is analysed that project management is one of the significant
factor of a specific project. In addition to this, project management assist in completing the
project in an appropriate and timely manner. Work breakdown structure is used by project
managers to divide the whole project into smaller activities that help in timely completion of
project. Gantt chart represents the activities along with the time that is beneficial for achievement
of project timely. There are various risk associated with a project and it is important for project
manager to make use of risk analysis tool as it help in declining level of risk in an effective
manner.
