Introduction
The practice of starting, planning, controlling, and conclusion or closure of the process of
achieving a specific goal business-wise requires vigilance. The project at hand need to be
concluded within the constraints of the budget, timeline scope, and quality and must have
significant return value to the organization Mullaly, & Thomas, (2016). The project of interest
must be complete and ready for business application by the client within the above constraints.
Failing to provide the project within the above limitations implies failure in project delivery.
Business description
The rate of information technology evolution cannot be underestimated. Business and
people have become informed in their field of careers owing to secure and reliable information
availability Kerzner, (2017). All this is attributed by the availability of internet connection, a
technology that can be termed as the latest human evolution after farming, fire invention, and the
wheel.
Digital media is the organization of interest in this report. The organization provides
internet consultation to the members of the public as well as hosting the webs for clients. The
experts in the organization are competent and have sufficient knowledge in Webhosting,
information security, information law, accountancy on information, social media management
and search engine optimization among a long list of professions in this field.

organization with WiFi, it is estimated that about five persons of different expertise will be hired.
The project is also expected to take less than six months from the day the organization requested
the connection to the day the connection is ready for use in the organization Meredith, Mantel &
Shafer, (2017). The project will cost less than $350000, and the following items are required for
the project to be realized: Laptops, desktops, mobile broadband, router, and connecting expertise.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT 5
How I will do the work with competence
Undertaking a project in business requires a high level of intelligence and dedication to
achieving the goals of the client. In business, indeed, happy customers come back with friends.
Competence and trust in this project is a do or die.
To prove competence and gain the trust of the Digital media, which is a client, in this
case. Five experts must seat around the table and discuss the project from individuals expertise
viewpoint to ensure no loopholes can compromise the project once the installation process
begins Walker, (2015).
After satisfactory planning and site visit, the materials required for the project execution
are procured and confirmed free from defaults and good in quality. In the capacity of the project
manager, I will play the role of controlling all the activities of the project. The materials are later
distributed in the site, and the project is initiated right away Joslin, & Müller, (2015).
The budget of the project is the heart of every project. Failure to budget competitively
may imply or predict failure in the project or the career in this case. Budgeting requires sufficient
marketing knowledge since a small mess can plunder a wise and competitive thought.
The expert hired may take one of the following budgeting to safeguard the future of the
project delivering organization Harrison, & Lock, (2017). One is market penetration, where the
cost of the project is minimized to the level best. The client will enjoy the cheap but quality
service hence recommending friends to seek our services. However, people think in diverse
mode. Some of the clients may view the service to be of low quality owing to the low cost. Here,
expertise is required to hike the cost of the project to make the client believe the project is of
high quality, although everything has been maintained constant.
Competent budgeting and planning for the project implementation will compel the client
that I am the best service provider available. To further boost the client-provider relationship, I
will pledge maintenance and provide warrant for the project for a given period Turner, (2016).

PROJECT MANAGEMENT 6
Problem solved
The project possesses a lot of benefits to Digital media as an organization. The problem
of internet connectivity will be solved, and the organization will stay connected anytime the need
arises. The nature of the organization also demands internet connectivity, and without it, the
organization is incomplete Eskerod, & Jepsen, (2016). .
Value proposition
WiFi connection to the organization is a primary requirement. This is because hosting
websites is an online task, and an internet connection is a must requirement. On the security of
information, the organization will use various methods of keeping the information secure,
including encryption and cloud computing. These aspects require internet connection.
Search engine optimization and social media management can never be done offline. The
organization will, therefore, require a robust and reliable internet connection whenever it intends
to be operational Verzuh, (2015).
It is evident that the organization implementing the internet connection will have the rent,
power, human resource, and profit as the only bills to pay. Adding the computing machines bill
makes up the entire organization cost. The labor cost is estimated to be 30% of the total
organization earning, while 50% will go to settlement of bills and rent. 10% is the estimated
organizations' profit while the remainder can be traced from the advantage of using our WiFi
connection Nicholas, & Steyn, (2017). The project costing $350000 is not much when compared
to the returns. Assuming the organizations $400000 a month, the organization will take less than
nine months to pay the cost of the connection from the profit and enjoy the exponential return in
the rest of the trade periods.
Conclusion
This report is on project implementation in Digital media. The project is on the
installation of WiFi connection which is a primary requirement of the organization concerning
the nature and activities of the organization. The report includes the plan and control of the
project as well as the budget. The report takes a deep insight on buying the clients trust as well as
the business part of the project.
