INTRODUCTION
Project management is termed as a procedure in which process related to initiating,
planning, formulating, monitoring, controlling and closure is being undertaken for a work in
order to fulfil organisational goals as well as objectives within specified time period. One of the
most challenging factor in this is to effectively ensure that project goals are fulfilled with specify
constraints and resources (Kerzner, 2019). Present report has been conducted on QAHE (QA
Higher Education). In this as to increase engagement of students in extra-curricular activities
development of new QAHE Recreation mobile phone app is being undertaken. This will offer
day by day details of QAHE clubs and societies’ events, links to contact details and the freedom
for students to publicise their own events. In this report formative details related to project
initiation,work breakdown structure (WBS), analysis of stakeholders.
a) Project initiation document (PID)
Project Initiation Document mainly defined project management, scope along with
overall success criteria. In addition to this, it mainly include basic information related to project
that include collaboration, context, scope and team. It duly provide a foundation for project while
including relevant essential aspects. It provide formative assistance to both client as well as team
in a well defined manner (Fewings and Henjewele, 2019). In addition to this, it has been
evaluated that in Project Initiation Document (PID) there is a combination of formative
informations that are mainly related to budget, breakdown of finance, approaches, objectives
etc. Mentioned below there is PID in relation with the event which is duly planned and to be
organised by QAHE:
