is based upon the project i.e. music festival. For that, the study will present three project
management methodologies with their pros and cons and then present the Gantt chart with
critical path. Further, research also present the stakeholder analysis and the describe the 5
different types of risk with its mitigation strategies.
TASK 1
Presenting three project management methodologies
Waterfall Project Management: One of the oldest project management methodology
and still used by many teams. Though this methodology is consider slowest that its counterparts
and it is useful for those company who is looking to have a lot of structure or predictability.
This method is actually based upon the six phases such that System and software requirement,
analysis, design, coding, testing and operations (Project Management methodologies, 2019).
Pros: The biggest advantage of using this method is such that it helps to maintain the stringent
stages and deadlines. This method uses clear structure and determine the end goals early and
transform the information in well manner.
Cons: This method is actually makes the changes difficult and also excludes the end users too.
Also, delay testing until after completion is also consider loophole.
PRINCE2 Methodology: This method is used by the private sectors and also focused on
the efficiency as well as minimize the risk as well (Joslin, 2019). Further, this method is also
help to control over the entire project i.e. start from end and its thoroughly planned structure
helps to make the project better.
