Introduction
The following project is totally based on the project management that is created by
using the PMBOK principles. The different kinds of the principles has been achieved in a
systematic manner in order to ensure a great success for the business organisation different
kinds of projects across the globe work under the PMBOK principles. The following report
has been based on the two different projects in Australia both the different projects are based
on Healthcare. The first one being The Queensland children’s hospital while the second
one is none other than The Perth children’s hospital. These two projects are largely
discussed and are used as a basis for the comparison and to show the difference in between
the same kind of projects. Apart from this the research has also provided the different benefits
characteristics and the perspectives associated with the project. Finally the report has also
shapes the different perspectives that provides the base for making the project in line with the
Global standards.
PMBOK Guidelines and project
The PMBOK guide is totally unique to the project management which contains the
critical path method and the Work Breakdown Structure. The PMBOK guide also has an
impact over the general management that involves the likes of planning, organization,
staffing and execution of the tasks and the controlling of the different business operations
(Hughes et al. 2016). The following guide includes the likes of the financial forecasting,
organizational behaviour, management science, budgeting and many other different kinds of
the project management guides to be used in the project. The following projects that has been
discussed in the report has been completed by the use of the following guidelines. The major
phases of the project was started with the commencement of the initiation process, planning
process, execution process and that of the process of monitoring and proper control (Hermano

& Martín-Cruz, 2019). The combined processes of all these elements has helped to deliver
the ultimate business project.
Case 1
Queensland Children’s Hospital
Queensland children’s hospital is one of the leading Healthcare facility of Australia
that provides Global standard Healthcare to children. The shareholders of the organisation
along with the management of the hospital has been able provider Global touch by ensuring
their presence of different kinds of paediatric services and also other kind of superior
Healthcare services. the management of Royal children's hospitals, Queensland paediatric
cardiac services, Prince Charles hospital and Mater children's hospital has come together to
form a single state of the art facility. The project which was announced in the year 2008 has
been established to ensure the associated infrastructural and managerial development for the
current as well as the future (childrens.health.qld.gov.au, 2019). Queensland children’s
hospital is a project of $1.5 billion which is certainly one of the highest financial investment
in the history of Queensland Healthcare services and also one of the largest projects that have
been undertaken in Australia. With 12 different clinical levels and 359 public beds spread
around 80000 metre square the hospital is one of the best in Australia.
The management of the hospital has made all the different arrangements in the
development of the hospital as one of the strong networks hospitals in Australia. The
development has been in such a manner that it has turned out into a regional paediatric
Network and leads the expert paediatric and adolescent Health Care facility of the Australian
state from this. The hospital has also created a central half of the state-wide network of the
different Healthcare services that consists of children of all age different kinds of superior
treatments are provided to the children (childrens.health.qld.gov.au, 2019). The Federal
