Project management is an essential function or method that is used by business to bring a
innovation, manage and control any new business project effectively to achieve the goals
in a proper way (Kerzner and Kerzner, 2017). This presentation is in context to
Bathstore.com that is a leading specialist bathroom retailers in UK with around 164
stores all around the country. Various steps are involved in a project management plan
that will be included in this presentation related to the company. Furthermore, the report
will determine budget, method and other elements that are essential to complete the
project of office move.

IDEA OF THE PROJECT : OFFICE MOVE
Proper management and planning are the
key to a successful moving of office like
any other major project (Harrison and
Lock, 2017). Bathstore needs to develop an
office relocation project plan after making a
decision to relocate the their office. This is
an essential element or step that needs to be
taken in a project of office move.

ANALYSIS
In order to move the office it is important to analyze each and every
element related to the moving of the project. As project manager I
selected 10 individuals from each department of the company to assist me
in this project (Planning office move, 2016). The project will focus
managing cost, time and resources effectively that will be required to
complete this project

Key Stakeholders
The major stakeholders for this project mainly includes five groups –
upper management, consulting firm, vendors employees and customers.
The upper management and employees are part of Bathstore, employees
represent managers and staff of various departments in the organization.
In order to use and install technologies in the new office IT department
will also play a vital role as an stakeholder.

THEORITICAL FRAMEWORK
In order to complete this project lean startup model has been used which is
very effective in creating a new product or in a start up. As a project
manager I did not spent much on research or generating idea for office
move. I validated a new office idea by developing a minimum viable
thought and strategies for the new office.

Budget estimate
Bathstore has 50 employees and the moving office will be charged $200 per employee. The
carpenters and painters were hired from the same company that charges $10/hour per employee
and the paint is $4/sq.ft. and the carpet is $.1/sq.ft. It is planned to rent a POD Storage Unit to
place the cubicles in so that workers can paint, carpet and have our IT team set up internal wires, at
a total cost of $300. The furniture will consist 20 chairs for the 4 private offices in each section, 10
desks for each, 10 cubicle chairs, 2 conference tables, 20 conference chairs, and 3 projectors for
each of the section. This brings our total expenses to $70000. In conclusion, our budget that we
should give Bathstore is $ 70000 so we have a little room in case the moving need to make any
changes to the variables including number of carpenters, boxes, or painters.

attractive features such as real experience to the customers, improved
structure, effective sections with most appropriate lighting effects, the
budget estimated was suitable for completion of the project.
