Introduction
The main focus of the article is on the importance of project control in various
infrastructure-based projects. It is found that sustainability has generally become of the
significant delivery method for the projects but the stakeholder mainly needs proper
ethicality, eco-friendly efficiency within the entire life cycle of the project. The paper reviews
a number of articles that reviews previous studies and generally showcased those
sustainability aspects within PM generally need proper attention that is required to be
properly directed within the delivery of PM. The main goal of the entire study is to properly
determine the various types of control practices that are generally utilized within the
organizations for managing the projects quite sustainably. The result generally helps in
revealing that various sustainable PM that is implemented with the help of the various
indicators but generally have a holistic control packages in various control mechanism which
are generally used differently for the various sustainability dimensions. Proper internal
project control is generally complemented with sustainable project governance that generally
links the project with the various regulations as well as stakeholders. The alliance-based
contract related activities generally help in exploiting various opportunities related with
innovation which generally helps in promoting economic, environmental as well as social
sustainability.
Analysis
The paper helps in reflecting how the concept of project control is generally utilized
within sustainable project management within the delivery of the infrastructure-based

construction projects. The case project that the article generally uses is considered as one of
the important examples for the high demanding project where the project stakeholders are
successfully involved with the entire work. The main goal that is generally identified from
this particular research is to determine the various types of control practices that are generally

projects (Willems & Vanhoucke, 2015). For successfully meeting the main goal of the
project, it is analyzed that proper use of control mechanism as well as their contribution

It is also reflected that various types of control mechanisms which are generally
associated with the control mechanism are generally determined. The findings also help in
suggesting that there are four main contribution that is generally achieved due to the project

infrastructure within the delivery of the entire project. Secondly it is also necessary for
mapping the utilization of different types of control mechanisms for the various different
dimensions of sustainability (Mubarak, 2015). Thirdly, it is also necessary to confirm the
requirement of integration with the project control aspects. The results also help in reflecting
that the case project generally includes proper configuration of the entire control procedures
that are utilized. Within the entire control literature, the plurality of various types of control
generally helpful in widely accepting the entire phenomenon successfully.
