Abstract
The paper generally reflects on the impact of greenhouse gas emission and the benefits of
utilizing green information technology. It is found that a number of articles are generally
reviewed that reflects that the probability climatic change, increase level of Co2 as well as
global warming due to the greenhouse gas emission gets reduced if green information
technology is used. The findings of the paper helps in stating that Green IT no only helps in
reducing the environmental impact but also helps in saving energy, water as well as other
expenses in the organization. Moreover, a number of recommendations are also provided
which are further helpful in reducing the level of greenhouse emission.
