INTRODUCTION
Project management refers to the activity of leading all the operations in team so that they
can collectively achieve the project goals before the prescribed guideline. Before starting and
developing the project managers usually maintained the project documentation which involves
time, scope and budget. Project management involves various essential activities are like
developing a team so that they commence operation and focus on the project outcomes which are
expected by the organisation (Hair and Sarstedt, 2021) . This report is based on virtual delivery
system which help students in learning new things about their course work during pandemic
situation. It involves various platforms and methods like instructional videos, books, writing,
podcast, webinars, distance learning and professional certification courses. This report will
include critical evaluation of project along with identification of failure factors and critical
success factors. It also involves which lesson is learnt through this project along with
recommendations considering the career path in project management. This report will also
include the skill which is required to become a successful project manager.
MAIN BODY
Critical evaluation of the project chosen
The project which was implemented is virtual delivery system which is related to the
university of Wales Trinity Saint David, London. It helps University in providing lectures
through online medium so that a students can easily learn courses during the time of covid-19
(Picciotto, 2020). Due to lock down, universities are unable to commence classes for students
which results in execution of this project. With the help of this project University can effectively
communicate with the students and provide learning through virtual delivery which was best
suitable according to the situation. To provide virtual services University use advanced
technology which results in effective performance by providing face to face sessions and
lectures.
Success and failure factors of this project
Flexibility and accessibility: During covid-19 pandemic it is a successful opportunity for
universities as well as the students to learn courses through online platform. Students can easily
schedule their classes according to their time table and teachers also commence their lecture
according to their schedule which provides a sense of flexibility to both the users. Due to closure

of physical classes, it is helpful for students to continue their learning and session which is
essential for the growth according to their requirements.
Cost effective: Virtual delivery system results in cost effective values because it reduces
the cost of travel expenses for students. Universities can also enjoy this successful cost-effective
factor because they do not have to invest huge amount in their infrastructures and other
equipment (Wu and et.al., 2021). Due to cost effective factor, this project becomes more
sustainable in context to all the living beings and respective environment of them which is one of
the major successful factors. Online classes which involves face to face interaction of professors
and students proves very beneficial in various factors like cost effective because it do not involve
excessive cost which can hamper the learnings.
Relationship building: Through virtual delivery system students and teachers can interact
on regular basis during the time of lock down due to covid 19 pandemic. With the type the help
of technological advancements universities can effectively provide online services which
maintains a better relationship and healthy environment of learning for students. This project
assist in building the abilities of teamwork between students and teacher with the help of regular
conversation through the online platform of virtual delivery system. It also helps in developing
various skills like socialization skills because it allows in sharing information and ideas which
can help all the participants.
Failure factors of this project
Along with the successful factors, there are various failure factors are also involved in
this project which is faced by the university are as follows:
Adoption difficulties: Since this project is new for all the students which is slightly
difficult to adopt for them because it involves different features (Pan and Zhang, 2021). Students
take time to inherit the knowledge of using the virtual delivery system programs so that they can
learn without any difficulties. Colleges and teachers have to guide students how to use the
system and operate various features which are differently new for some students.
Technological disturbance: During the execution of this virtual delivery system project,
University have to face lot of challenges in the context of technological factors. There were
various issues in this project in the initial stages which are security issues login issues and access
issue which can affect the services on larger scale. To overcome these issues college a hired
