1. Project Overview
1.1 Project Purpose
The main purpose of the project is to construct a barbeque restaurant in Bedok, which is
one of the matured residential towns within east region of Singapore for serving high quality of
fresh food. The barbeque restaurants that are already present in the region of Bedok are quite
expensive, thus it is unaffordable for common people living in the region of Bedok. The
restaurant that is built will be helpful in providing wonderful atmosphere as well as services at a
reasonable price so that common people of that region can also enjoy the service.
1.2 Business goals and objectives
The main goal of the project is to construct a barbeque restaurant in the region of Bedok
for providing proper atmosphere as well as customer service at a reasonable price. The
construction of restaurant is also done for attracting large number of customers by providing high
quality of food. In addition to this, the restaurant will be able to provide different varieties of
menu including seafood, desserts, salad, drinks and appetizer.
The main objectives of the project are as follows:
 To provide proper atmosphere as well as service to the people of Bedok at an reasonable
price
 To attract large number of customers by providing high quality of food
 To achieve proper level of financial growth in each quarter of restaurant opening

The project scope is mainly categorized into in-scope and out-scope.

supermarket next door

The assumptions of the project are as follows:
 The members of the SME work group will be generally appointed before the meeting of
the first group of SME
