INTRODUCTION
The concept of Project management is regarded as one time efforts which leads to
achievement of particular target. This is comprised of development of project plan. Along witgh
this it involves stating the goals and targets and making determination of the task which are
needed to be utilized for the sake of achieving specified targets. Further it makes determination
and assignment of the resources and identifies the budget for accomplishment of the project plan
in an effective manner (Konstantinou and Müller, 2016). Within the particular report
development of new application is done so that blood donation can be made any time when
required.
Project introduction
Blood donation application is considered as the computerized software that is being
installed within the mobiles in order to attract the donors towards the various hospitals that are
registered in the application. The development of the application is being carried out in order to
persuade the donors so that they can register themselves for blood donation at any point of time.
The system is effective in understanding the blood donation operations and assist in putting
suitable control system. This act as an aid in visualizing of the information, automatic report
collection, creation of alarm for the donors. Under this application the requirement of blood by
the hospital would be updated on the application (Olson and Wu, 2017). Thus with this the
donors who have installed the application would get notification. Thus either they can approach
the hospital or can refer any other person. Here it is important for the donor that after getting the
notification then are required to give instant reply on the same. This is in order to fulfill the
requirement of the hospital on emergency basis. Limited scope of 5 people will be there for
required particular blood group. After this the time of registering would not be seen. This would
assist in making instant decision by the hospital. Thus satisfaction can be provided to the
individuals who are in need of blood on emergency basis. It is considered as ongoing activity
that includes several managerial aspects that involves planning, organizing management of
resources, controlling and others. In the present project management the aim is towards project
schedule designing, scope, determination of need for resources, estimation of cost, time, risk
mitigation, management of quality approaches for development of new application.

Goal and mission: The major aim beside development of the new application is towards making
sure the fulfillment of the emergency need of blood. This is effective in satisfying the needs of
the target market to a greater extent.
Objectives:
 To ensure that proper notification is provided to the one who have downloaded the
application
 To make sure that registration of the individuals are being viewed (Gao, Chen and Shi,
2017) To make sure that limited scope kept is filled in an effective manner so that need of
hospital is accomplished.
Critical success factors Experienced and talented developers: Project planner possess major need that is towards
having skilled and talented designers of software who are able to gain knowledge in
relation to actual need of the new blood donation application in accordance with the
specification of the hospitals (Heagney, 2016). Management of risk: Each project has some risk associated with it. This can be in
association with the technical failure, scope, lack of finance and other kind of risks that
needs to be managed in an effective manner in order to reduce the number of threats and
make sure planning in successful manner. Management of time and cost: It has significance in making sure execution of work in
accordance with the planned action in addition with the schedule of time that application
of Blood donation can be devised in specified span of time (Hobbs, 2009). Further
management of finance is important towards not exceeding the actual costs beyond the
target limit.
 Effectiveness in communication: For the purpose of increasing awareness among the
members of team set plan, policies as well as process, suitable communication is of
