Introduction
Career development basically depicts the procedure of evaluation and examination of the
interests and skills of a person in order to make an effective decision regarding the choices of
choosing a career. In this career research report, I am showing the information which is basically
required to ensure an effective enhancement and development in career. The following report
focus on the career development of project management in construction, it involves the the
organizing and directing of the whole project life cycle that is from generating the idea to the
completion of project. I am choosing this field for the purpose of my career development
because I believe that pursuing a profession in the field of project management in construction
can help me to enhance my overall personality development and my potential. I am eagerly
interested in this job of project manager to develop my skills in area of work related to
construction(Dikmen and et. al., 2018). In this report, the major topics that are covered is the
general trends which can have an impact on the project management in construction and the
skills and experience that are required to become an effective project manger in the field of
construction project management.

General trends has a great influence on the construction project management and these
trends depicts the practices used by the project managers in order to improve the overall
performance of the activities. The different important trends that are emerging in the profession
of construction project management are:-

considered as an effective tool that is used to achieve the desired goals and objectives. In the
recent years the impact of construction project management has been realized in an organization.
The project mangers who are willing to put down their skills to conduct the use of various
strategies in the firms(Hamzaoui and et. al., 2019). It is important for them to understand the
relationship between program and project before start administrating the work.
Globalisation: - In this decade, the construction project management has facilitate its job
style of the conduction of work. It has redefined the ways to operate the work and enhance the
interaction and collaboration among various countries in this profession of management. It helps

field of construction is a much suitable path of career for me that I am very passionate about. I

2020). Moreover I also think that the I have all the relevant skills for being qualified for the
