Part One: MOV – Measurable Organizational Value
MOV – MOV is a specific standard of outcomes that need to be delivered in the project.
Area of Impact – In this project, the desired area of impact is primarily finances i.e.
Globex wants to develop a sustainable business plan that will result in a standard source of
income from the sale of the online stud farm management software. Customer is the secondary
desired area of impact as Globex wants to address the issues faced by the stud farm managers
with their manually managed system.
Value – The value for this particular project is better i.e. the new system will replace the
manually managed process making it much more accurate, efficient as well as convenient for the
stud farm managers.
Metric – The target for the stakeholders in this project is to fulfill all the requirements
and complete the project within a pre-set schedule and budget. Maintaining the schedule and
budget is essential for generating sufficient amount of cost benefit from the project.
Time Frame – In order to achieve the MOV, the expected time frame for the project is
around 7 months (28/05/2018 – 18/12/2018).
Summary of MOV – Within the given timeframe of 7 months and a specific allotted
budget, the project needs to develop an online stud farm management system that will address
the issues faced by the stud farm managers and earn sufficient cost benefit for Globex.
