1 Introduction
The project is designed to construct the dream house by taking acceptance and approval from
your partner so that requirement can be completely satisfied. Initiatives should be taken for
developing contract with the builder which helps in satisfying the requirement such as
designing of modular kitchen, flooring, electrical fitting, and others. The purpose of this
project is to implement the quality control tools so that mission can be effectively finished
within minimum cost and time.
2 Conflict Management strategy
Conflict management strategy is designed for resolving conflict between the employees so
that project can be completed successfully (Anderson, 2015). It is required to analyse the root
cause of the conflict occurrence so that imbalances can be controlled by negotiating the
process.
Partner:
Conflict occurs with the partner due to the financial budgeting and difference cost estimation
plan. It is required to develop trust and confidence among them so that believe on the cost
plan can be managed and project funds can be afforded by the approval from both the parties
(Badewi, 2015). The following table shows the application of conflict management strategy
to resolves the conflict and chaotic behaviour associated with the partners.
Steps Strategy Description
Accommodating Accommodating strategy focuses on identifying the behaviour and attitude
of the opposing partners with relation to the cost estimation plan and
project funds. It helps in finding out the reason for opposing the cost plan.
Tracking of the requirement and need of the partner aids in examining the
root cause of the conflict which provides direction of resolving the
disputes and chaos which happen among the working partners (Bogason,
and Dahl, 2015).
Avoiding disputes and chaos which happen with the partner should be avoided at top
priority which emphasis on completing the formalities associated with the
business plan in effective manner. Focus should be given on minimizing
chaos and supporting peace at work place. Conformation should be taken

on the requirement and differences in the project operation plan. It aids in
determining conflict among them.
Collaborating It is required to collaborate and integrate ideas, perception, opinions of the
partners to design the requirement plan, designing of the house, total
budget of the project, time required to finish the tasks, and others.
Integration of ideas in the designing process and placing requirement of
the house in relation to the flooring, smart kitchen, infrastructure, and
others. Decision creation abilities of the partners can be enhanced by
collaborate the acceptance of both the partners on the common
requirement, cost, time, and quality, and managing contract with the
builder (Carcano, and et.al., 2016).
Compromising Conflict can be resolved by designing the compromising strategy so that
demand of the partners can be compromised on the common objectives of
the designed project. Equivalent opportunities, controls, and authorities are
provided to the end users so that project of designing the dream house can
be completed with ease and minimum conflict among the partners.
Competing Feeling of competition among the partners should not be developed
because it creates difference in the acceptance of the undertaken project
policies and principles. Conflicts among the partners can be resolved by
providing equal opportunities of taking decision so the plan can be
concluded within the approved time and cost. It helps in handling the
emergency situation because partners have a right to take the decision on
their own to resolve the emergency situation without waiting for the
approval from the partners (Cousillas, 2010).
Builder
Chaotic environment is getting created during the signing of the agreement for the
construction of the dream house between the partners and the builder. It is required to take
step forward so that issues and differences can be resolved at top priority (Damoah, 2015).
The following table shows the application of conflict management strategy to resolves the
conflict and chaotic behaviour associated with the builders.

stakeholders exist which requires focusing on analysing the root cause
of the conflict and how the operational plan of the builder should
match up with the project aim and intentions of developing the dream
house. Service level agreement should be contracted with the builder
by initializing the clear details of the terms and condition of the
project with respect to time, cost, and quality (Ennouri, 2013).
Avoiding Conflict should be avoided if the way of completing the task is
different of the builder but quality of the end result is same with
respect to time, cost, and quality. It helps in controlling the project
effectively because builders are responsible completely for achieving
the dream house construction.
Collaborating Mutual understanding and active contribution of the owners in the
construction design and planning process helps in curtailing difference
in the design strategy and the project is completed according to the
necessity placed by the owner. It focuses on growing the level of
contentment of the client (Gupta, 2019).
Compromising Compromising strategy exist when there are some issues with the
builder that he is not able to complete the project according to the
requirement and demand of the partners. Mutual understanding, trust,
and believes play a vital role in managing operation and complete the
dream house project without any complexities.
Competing Feeling of competition should be generated in the builder by the
partners so that they work hard to deliver the quality of work to them.
It can be done by providing them proof of work completed by the
other competitors in same budget and time (Hamad, 2018).
3 Leadership Style
Success of the mission depends on the calibre and efficiency of the project leader to lead the
project so that requirement should meet with the goal and mission. Decision making
capability of the project leader can be enriched by taking perception and views of the partners
so that requirement and demand should comply with the end results. Sometimes differences
in the project activities and requirement of the stakeholders exist which requires focusing on

analysing the root cause of the conflict and how the operational plan of the builder should
match up with the project goal and objectives of developing the dream house (Hamid, and
et.al., 2013). Implementation of the democratic leadership style helps in curtailing the
difference in the obligation plan and project design because it involves the active contribution
of the stakeholders in providing their ideas and perception to finish the project effectively
without any chaotic environment. Mutual understanding and active participation of the clients
in the construction design and planning process helps in minimizing difference in the design
strategy and the project is completed according to the requirement placed by the owner. It
focuses on increasing the level of satisfaction of the client. Indulging of democratic
leadership style helps in resolving the complexities and differences which are associated with
the project. Creativity in the designing of the house can be implemented by the active
participation of the team members. It has been seen that leadership style motivates the builder
to design the dream house according to the requirement placed by guiding them to manage
the project design (Haron, and et. al., 2013).
Some of the advantages of the adoption of the democratic leadership style for the designing
of the dream house is given below:
ï‚· Resolving complications and hectic environment at work place by taking active
contribution of the team members in the project designing phase
ï‚· Motivating creativity so that project can satisfy the requirement of smart kitchen,
flooring, and others
ï‚· Managing coordination among builders and clients
ï‚· Managing good relationship with the team members and stakeholders
ï‚· Following ethical code of conduct
ï‚· Motivating connectivity with the project which helps in taking effective decision
ï‚· Improves satisfaction of the partners with respect to the requirement plan
ï‚· Improving commitment of the builder to provide required design of the dream house
ï‚· Improving team knowledge and skills of developing the team
ï‚· Improving vision of identifying uncertainties associated with the project
4 Applications of quality control for managing project:
Monitoring and controlling of the project design can be effectively managed by deploying the
quality control so that complexities can be resolved and good quality project can be provided

to the end user. Controlling of the quality can be done by implementing the following quality
control to meet the objectives and design requirement of the dream house construction
program.
Flowchart: Creating flowcharts for defining the organization structure so that transmission of
the project report can be effectively manageable and scheduled among the working units of
the enterprise. It helps in accelerating the process flow and workflow management program
(Haughey, 2014).
Checklist: Quality of the undertaken project of designing the dream house can be measured
by verifying the quality of the end result with the checklist prepared from the detailed
requirement specification plan placed by the clients to the builder during the project initiation
phase.
Cause and effect diagram: Cause and effect diagram is used for measuring the impact and
effect of the problems associated with the project development plan. Root cause of the project
failure depends on people, material, process, plan, and operations, and others. Tracking of the
requirement and need of the partners helps in analysing the root cause of the conflict which
provides direction of resolving the issues and chaos which exist among the working partners.
Pareto Charts: Pareto charts are the bar charts which are designed for showing the frequency
of the root causes of the project failure occurrence. It helps in defining the flow of activities
to achieve the common goal and objectives of the undertaken project. It helps in measuring
the defects, flaws, and problems associated with the project development phases. Priorities
should be set to the problems so that corrective action plan can be taken to minimize their
impact on the construction process of the dream house (Hornstein, 2015).
Control charts: Control charts are the line charts which are used to define the flow of data
plan among the operational units so that project can be completed according to the project
schedule, timeline, and cost plan. It helps in measuring the difference in the working process
so that corrective action plan can be implemented to minimize their impact on the project
completion cycle.
Histograms: Histograms are the bar charts which are designed for showing the frequency of
the root causes of the project failure occurrence. It helps in focussing the requirement and
data needed for the project completion without any complexities. Data is gathered from
different sources which help in analysing the flaws and defects in the project plan to meet the

project quality. Variation in the bar charts gives the clear idea about the complexities
associated with the working process and operational plan.
Scatter Diagram: Scatter diagrams are the graphs which are used to define the relationship
between the independent and dependent variables of the project cycle. It helps in handling the
complex situation by identifying the impact of relationship on the working process of the
undertaken project.
Initiatives should be taken by the builders and clients to retrieve quality of dream house
which helps in meeting the requirement placed by them in the project initiation phase. It
requires the active participation of the clients in controlling the flow of project activities.
Quality tools works in the direction to gather information about the difference in the actual
work done and the expected work from the undertaken project schedule (Itegi, F.M. (2015).
