1. Introduction
Management of a project is subjected to understanding of different
tools and techniques that can help contribute to easier project
implementation. It is essential for the project team the different tools and
techniques of project management to ensure that a project is executed in an
effective manner. The report aims in discussing a communication plan that
has been prepared for Public Health Informatics Project. The project aims in
development of an integrated information system that can possibly track the
information associated needed to conduct a project in an effective manner
[4]. The following section of the report assesses the communication plan
that has been developed for the undertaken project. The report further
recommends a communication plan that can improve the communication
process within the project team.
2. Assessing the current communication Plan
A communication plan is prepared for the project of improving the
Public Health Informatics. There are a number of benefits of developing a
communication plan. It not only helps in establishing a way of
communication, but also helps in management of the stakeholders
associated with the project.
A project has been undertaken in order to develop an information
system that will record and store the health information of the patients. The
project could fetch a full support from the project team and the leader team
and therefore, developing and establishing a correct way of communication
among the members was essential [7]. The communication plan that is
developed is found to be well structured and it will ensure correct
communication among all the individuals of a project team [3]. It is observed
that the communication plan that is prepared by the project manager
provides all the necessary details about the stakeholders involved and the
