INTRODUCTION
A project management offers structure in the organisation over the project environment,
ensuring that agreed upon actions result in the correct goods or services to fulfil the customer's
requirements. Infrastructure and design are one of the most appealing infrastructure, since
learners desire to have admittance to university (Andrei, and et.al 2019). Projects are temporary
structures that must be effectively managed and regulated in order to achieve their stated goals.
they are often given in a setting where both money and resources are limited and competitive.
This report will discuss the methodology for establishing a new library at the university, as well
as the anticipated difficulties in implementing the approach for the project. grab more students'
attention towards the new library and learning new things with the help of reading books.
MAIN BODY
Information related to project
Bedfordshire is looking for a new academic library to boost its academic and institutional
student services. The library will be open 24 hours a day, attracting students as well. The design
of the latest library is 7400 square metres and has 7 decks. It will be easy for learners to enter
dual height 154000 physical books will be provided to all students, and all shelves will be
labelled to make it easy for students to pick whatever sort of books or generics they truly desire.
Evaluation of different methodologies of project management
The administration of projects is very essential to companies and teams but it must be
properly mapped by the project manager to the kind of team, project, organisation and
objectives, in order to be genuinely effective. Basically, A methodology for project management
is a collection of guiding guidelines and practises in order to guarantee optimal performance in
the projects (Armenia, and,et.al 2019). This project will consider two approaches and decide
which one will be beneficial for making a new library in Bedfordshire.
Agile is a collection of concepts rather than a technique. Its ideas are used in more specialised
techniques such as Scrum, extreme Programming, Kanban. It is a practise that is built on
continuous iterations of development and testing, with such operations running concurrently.
Agile initiatives, as opposed to pre-planned processes, are distinguished by a succession of tasks

that are developed, completed, and changed as the circumstance requires.
Waterfall, on the other side, is considerably more linear, focused on upfront preparation with
needs well established before beginning a project. Activity flows across several project phases,
much like a waterfall, as the term implies. Each phase must be completed before moving onto
another.
Pros of Agile: Agile flexibility prevents rigidity. Team members and stakeholders have
opportunities to watch and evaluate throughout the project, allowing for modifications and
changes as the project progresses (Bushuiev, and Kozyr, 2020). This increased “user focus”
implies that when it comes to delivery, the output will most likely be more in line with the
expectations – even if they have altered along the way. Agile values cooperation, teamwork, self-
organization, and responsibility. This improves overall motivation and dedication to the
objectives and goals of a project. Agile ’s logical when a project involves incremental progress,
complicated deliverables, or various, non-sequential time frames. Agile will be required for
projects that demand integrated and collaborative yet cross-functional teams to accomplish.
When processes or roles are unknown, there is space for figuring it out as the project progresses.
It also enables the project customer to be involved at any point along the journey. Agile is best
suited to products that are produced in phases, upgrades, or iterations.
Agile cons: Because of its adaptability and flexibility, an Agile project may lose focus or go
behind schedule. Iterating and re-aligning a project on a regular basis can easily extend budgets
and schedules. Devotion to Agile principles implies that team members are nearly entirely
devoted to the project, which can be problematic in terms of resources and continuity. While this
type of emphasis can result in speedier results, it may not result in better results if the project
feels uncontrolled or has lost focus.
Waterfall pros: Waterfall is very effective for well-defined projects. Project stakeholders agree
on what will be provided from the start, making planning and design considerably easier.
Because the whole scope of the project is understood from the start, progress can be tracked
more readily. In contrast to Agile, this more linear approach frequently implies that team
members just need to be present for their respective project stages and may thus continue to work
on other areas. Similarly, the consumers of a project may only need to be significantly involved
