INTRODUCTIONThe process of initiating, planning, controlling and closing the work of the team in orderto achieve the desired results or objective is known as project management. The specific criteriaof the project is achieved at a specific time (Janda and Killip, 2013.). The QA Higher Education(QAHE) is planning a full refurbishment of its teaching rooms and computing labs in theLondon Campus (London students) to ensure students and staff all have an excellent learningenvironment and access to the latest technology to support their studies and teaching. In thiscontext, the report helps in demonstrating an understanding about the phases of projectmanagement. The project initiation document will be developed and risk assessment plan inorder to carry out the project will be made in this assignment. Eventually, a short report toproject sponsor defining the importance of risk management plans will be formulate.TASK 1- PID and Stakeholder AnalysisProject initiation document (PID) or project charter is simply a short summarydocument, usually produced at the beginning of a project, that can be circulated to anyone whowants/needs to know to give an idea of the overall concept and major parameters (De Bruijn andTen Heuvelhof, 2010). In order to refurbished teaching rooms, computing lab of QA at LondonCampus sufficient amount of budget, time, labour and resources will be required.
