The case scenario chosen for this specific project isRoyale Pizza, established in the year of 2007. The company is20 years more experienced however these days due to strong competition level the company is facing major delivery challenges due to numbers of new similar pizza delivery companies. The set of achievable project goals estimated for this specific project are as follows: The goal of Royale Pizza is to renovate their current store (with flooring, air conditioner instalment, painting that is dust free, exhaust system and compressor capacities) within an estimated of AU$40,000 and in the allotted time phase of 4 months. In addition to this another goal of Royale Pizza is to obtain an economical profitability of 25%. The other goal of the company is to install some equipment including 3 numbers of deep fryers, point of sales system, 2 boilers and1 dough roller. The company operates both online and offline services to their consumers. In order to deliver timely and quality food products to their consumers they should install needful and supporting hardware and software. Respective software licences are also required to deliver an error free service to their consumers. In addition to this, shop supervisor, compliance safety certification bodies and technical bodies are required to be consulted to implement the project within time and budget
3PROJECT MANAGEMENT 2. A brief scope statement for the Case Study project The scope of the project is to renovate the current store ofRoyale Pizza within an estimated budget of AU$40,000 in 4 months. The project delivery phases must be followed accordingly to avoid the challenges of overrunning cost and over allocation of budget. If the project is not accomplished within time and budget or else, if it is found to be delay then AU$300 will be penalized by the contractors.Apart from this a safety measure is also required to be applied and considered by the project managers during the design and development of the project to ensure its success. The scope of the company is to obtain a commercial profitability of 25%. In order to reduce the workloadfrom the associated project team members this large project will be divided into small phases in terms of project design phase, project procurement ad delivery phase, construction phase and installation and painting phase. The net duration planed for the construction and interior of Pizza Store for Royale Pizza is 4 months. As per the division it is determined that, in order to complete the design phase 1 month is required. Apart from that, for the procurement, delivery method, construction and installation and planning phase a total time of 2 months, 1 month and 2 months respectively will be needed by the project manager. Project scope statement is comprises of two phases in terms of requirement gathering and project scope defining y collecting needful information. The project scope needs to cover all the elements that may satisfy the consumers. It is determined that project scope statement is referred to as one of the most challenging task among the different project management activities.
