Project 1
PID – It is a document which consists of entire info of project that is project scope, budget,
timescale, etc. which helps in getting an overview of entire project. Similarly, for present project
as well PID is developed that is as below :
Budgetary information – Here, in order to do the refurbishment and redevelopment of London
campus there is a particular budget given by management of University. Thus, the overall budget
given is £100k. The entire project needs to be completed within specified budget. Here, budget
will be allocated in various activities as per its requirement.
Timescale – In PID it means the time in which the project has to be completed. So, on basis of
time schedule is prepared and start and end time of activities is determined (Harold 2021). It is
necessary for project manager to finish project within time as delay in project can led to rise in
cost. Thus, for current project the overall time given is 3 months. In this time period
refurbishment and redevelopment of the London campus is to be done.
Objective – The main objective of this project is refurbishment and redevelopment of the
London campus. This is done for seating that can be extended, along with audio sheets on the
walls to develop effective classrooms.
Approach – In every project there is a particular approach which is followed. This is because the
approach enable in working in systematic way and attaining of goals. The use of approach
depends on type and nature of project (Silvius 2021). It is necessary to use approach as it break
down project into different stages. By that it becomes easy to proceed with project. Thus, for
present project waterfall project approach will be used. In this every task needs to be finished
before starting other. Similarly, here redevelopment of London campus will be broken down into
several stages. The approach is easy to follow as each step is proceed only when first one is
completed.
Key staff – The key staff required for project will be project manager, team members, quality
inspector, HR and accountant.
Stakeholder – There are different stakeholders in project. So, it is necessary to find out those
stakeholder so that their needs are identified and accordingly changes are made into project plan.
In order to do so there is relevant model used in it such as stakeholder analysis. Likewise, in
current project as well the stakeholder identified are as follows :

Team members:- They are those who will perform project activities as per directions given by
project manager. They are hired to attain goals of project and completing it in given time period.
Project manager:- This is main person who is responsible the success and failure of project. He
or she do overall planning, take decision, assign roles and responsibilities, etc. to team members
(Vera Alvarez and et.al., 2021). They are highly affected by the outcomes of refurbishment and
redevelopment of the London campus.
Suppliers- They are those stakeholder who will provide equipment and raw materials for
refurbishment and redevelopment of campus. So, it is necessary that quality of raw materials
must be high. Also, they need to provide materials within time.
University director- The Director of QAHE is also a stakeholder as it require permission from
him / her in order to start the project. Also, the project progress should be reported to director to
ensure that it is executed on time.
Trustee- They are management of QAHE who runs University and form all rules and policies.
Besides, they also provide funds to QAHE for various activities. Thus, they will provide funds to
refurbishment and redevelopment of London campus.
Teachers- They are stakeholder as project is initiated for their benefit. In that it requires teacher
support as well to execute and complete project in time.
