INTRODUCTION Project management refer to application of key procedures, approaches, experience and competencies to achieve specific or set of goals according to the acceptance as well as success criteria within agreed parameters. This process drives the attention of project manager toward leading the work of a group in order to reach all project aims within and according to given constraints, which in return provide varied benefit to them. The current assignment will explain the success factors, lessons learnt and appropriate suggestions based on overall analysis of High Speed In project. Furthermore, it will clarify a career path in project management and skills that person need to acquire to be a successful project manager. TASK Critically evaluate success or failure factors of project and lesson learnt from that A project encompasses key elements that put direct impact on final outcome. In case of High Speed in, there are different forms of success factors has been identified and these are; Time saving- The first thing about this project that make it successful in the UK and other nations as well after implementation is current one (Success Factors,2021). In the recent time, individual person face a lot of challenges to survive as they work harder and wake-up early in the morning to reach on time at workplace. Many of them are not successful to do so as they face issue to chose one of those public transportation service that help them to step in the office on time. High speed in project may provide several benefits to residents in term of saving their time to reach at specific destination instead of dealing with problems to survive by using public transportation excluding train where number of people are accessible and it takes time as well. It may enable people to take opportunity to relax, work and socialize with other whom they want to meet from longer time but unable to do that. Proper planning- Another success factor of a project is planning, which drive the attention of a project manager to consider each and every force in order to develop the best plan that help to reach expected outcome effectively and successfully (How To Identify Critical Success Factors in Project Management,2021). It can be said that appropriate planning allow manager to obtain strategic aims and objectives related to project which they effort to handle with consideration of cost contingencies. It defined as a success factor because with the help of appropriate plan, they
may move to next or further stages which increase level of their productivity and performance appropriately. Without developing and having a plan, project manager is not being able to gain success as outcome they may deal with critical issues. Elaborating risk management- Success related to any task or project is not that easy to gain for anyone in this business world as they have to take varied factors into consideration (Purba and et. al., 2019). For example, risk management as a key factor may contribute to make project successful because it may help to determine the major challenges along with minor that put negative impact on desire outcome of work. It can be said that risk management is highly essential in achieving strategic objectives and aims. Achieving project management goals amid risks entail identifying and implementing critical success factors. Risk management and register play important role to make project successful because it may support to develop the best and most effective plan that contribute to deal with key problems encompasses with work. Connectivity- Along with above, this key aspect may also contribute to make current project successful in the business world, as it may have capability to connect with other forms of public transportation options such as major airports, buses, local trains, and more, which is only possible to have high speed in system. It may do not make an appropriate passenger rail chain but require departing when passengers are ready to go (Yashiro and Kato, 2019). By connecting with other types of transportation service, it may contribute to save individual time and efforts to reach at specific location where they may struggle to book seat in intercity buses. It reduces risk of delay reaching at airports for commercial or personal reasons. Reflective statement- From high speed in project, I have developed my understanding about managing a project that help to grow my career and give me a chance to obtain desire outcome related to professional career. I had learned how to conduct a risk analysis and what factors in need to include in and consider as risks that put negative impact on final results and middles stages of project success. Along with this understanding, I had also learned the roles and responsibilities of a project manager, which drive their concentration toward following plan and interacting with team-mates in ethical manner. It made me capable to develop professionally, accomplish task or work faster and stronger my commitment level. It plays vital role in career development and performance enhancement. Time management and scheduling- To be a successful project manager, I tend to acquire time manageable skill which enable me to create an appropriate schedule that drive my a well as other attention toward conducting each practice accordingly.Time manageable competence allow me to develop a specific plan with division of different stages for which I am accountable to accomplish on time without any mistake that affect negatively and impact final outcome of my hard work at the end of project completion.
