Purpose of the projectThe main purpose of the project is to set up a broadband or VoIP service facility inMelbourne by “Mytelecom” organization for helping both businesses and home to have properinternet connection demand. The plan was mainly set in order to provide the facility of internetconnection to different geographical locations that are away from the city too. It is identified thatwith the help of this plan, the people of Melbourne can be able to get proper service of internet.It is identified that the project will be initiated on 5thmarch 2018 and it will be completedsuccessfully within the budget of around $299,640.2. Identification of stakeholdersThe stakeholders who are mainly involved within the project are provided below:StakeholdersResponsibilitiesProject managerThe project manager is the person who hasproper responsibility of initiating, planning,designing, executing, and controlling as wellclosing the project within the assumed budgetas well as time. They mainly engage indesigning as well as applying various types ofproject management standards in order toprepare as well as monitor various stages of theproject. Furthermore, the project manager alsomanages the risks of the project includingdevelopment as well as contingency plans thatare mainly associated with the project.Network analystThe network analyst is the person who ismainly responsible of installing, layout as wellas maintaining various network componentswithin a company. They are also involvedwith planning, designing, analyzing as well asfor providing proper technical support fordifferent data communication networks as wellas groups of network within the company.
3PROJECT MANAGEMENTNetwork engineersNetwork engineers are the people who aremainly responsible of implementing,developing as well as designing different typesof communication network within theorganization. Their main goal is to ensureproper integrity for high availability of networkrelated infrastructure for providing maximumamount of performance to various users.WorkersThe workers of the organization work withother stakeholders of the project in order toprovide the broadband as well as VoIP servicewith various geographical locations ofMelbourne including internal areas that are toofar from the city.Project plannerThe project planner is the person who mainlyengages in developing as well as defining theobjectives as well as goals of the projects.They monitor as well as analyze theeffectiveness of the project with the help ofproper qualitative tools. Additionally, thatplans as well as coordinates different activitiesof the project that are mainly designed in orderto implement as well as develop variousprocedures as well as processes of the system.Network administratorThe network administrator are the person whowill mainly engage in installing network aswell as computer related system in order tomaintain, repair as well as upgrade the networkof the Broadband as well as VoIP service.They also engage in diagnosing as well asfinding number of problems that are relatedwith the hardware as well as software of thesystem. Additionally they also help inimproving the network as well as system thatare associated with the set up of broadband.3. Computer network equipment site evaluationThe network infrastructure of MyTelecom is evaluated for generating a clear picture ofthe organizational framework. The expansion and the up gradation that can be applied in theframework are identified for listing the network equipment and ensuring successful growth of theorganization. There is need to identify the problem for removal of the bottleneck in the network

A simulationtool can be used for the analysis of the performance and QoS configuration and achievement ofthe desired performance from the network. It is important to create a network topology for theorganization for connecting the different departments and different tools should be applied foroptimization of the network and analyze the real time traffic for the evaluation of the networkenvironment. The following steps are applied for the evaluation of the IT infrastructure:a.Removal of the duplicate entries from the backup environment – The existing backupenvironment must be evaluated and the duplicate entries must be removed for saving thestorage cost and improve the efficiency of the recovery point.b.Fixing the network – The network device must be able to work efficiently under all typesof workloads and the bandwidth must be maintained when data is synchronized betweendifferent location in the network.c.Optimization of the application and the servers – The installation location of the serversshould be evaluated and the servers should be able to virtualize for reducing the cost ofthe network and distributing the loads in the network.d.Virtualization of the storage area network – A high performing and reliable networkinfrastructure should be created for the storage of the data in an efficient manner. Thedata should be able to move between the departments at real time and the distancebetween the sites should be measured for the application of an appropriate cabling plan.e.Business Continuity and disaster recovery plan –An optimized IT model should beselected for the preparation of the disaster recovery and the business continuity plan. Thestorage and the WAN cost can be reduced with the application of data reduplication,

Transmission path detailsThe details of the transmission paths of the network should be included in the networkand it refers to the creation of the cabling plan of the network. The cabling plan should becreated depending upon the network device and the area of the network required to be coveredfor enabling communication between the nodes in the network. The medium used for thetransmission of data is important for the success of the network and removal of the networkinterference. For interconnecting the devices coaxial, optical and twisted pair cable should beused. The backup should be stored in the cloud location and high speed link must be created foruploading the backup files to the cloud servers. The transmission path must be created based onthe service allocated to each of the nodes connected in the network. The records of thetransmission must be maintained for planning the allocations and updating the plans and thedatabase for recording all the details of the network.5. Identification of software and hardware those are necessaryThe hardware requirement necessary for the development of the network infrastructureare listed below:Client –DSL or ISDN internet connection
