1. Overview of the scenario
The paper mainly reflects on the relocation of a family from sunshine coast, QLD to
Perth. The family mainly consists of 4 members including two adults (Kelly & Jeff) and two
children. In addition to this, the family also has a dog and two cars. As Jeff secured the
position of marketing director in Perth, he wants to move to Perth with his family. It is found
as the new rental in Perth will be commenced on 27th January 2019 however Jeff needs to
vacate this current house by 20th January. Moreover, it is found that the relocation of the
family must be completed within the budget that is around $15,000.
2. Criteria and assumption for preparing the milestone plan and task list
The criteria and assumptions that are helpful in preparing the milestone plan or the
task list for the relocation of the family from the Sunshine coast to Perth are generally listed
below:
Infrastructure: It is assumed that Jeff can move to the new building in Perth by 27th
of January as the new building in Perth will generally be commenced on 27th January 2019.
Thus, it is assumed that Jeff can successfully relocate before 31st January on which the Perth
school with we commenced and the children of Jeff needs to be present there.
Cost: The project manager assumed that the relocation of the family from Sunshine
Coast QLD to Perth will generally be completed within $15,000. It is found that the increase
of project budget will generally create a number of financial issues for Jeff thus, it is very
much necessary for Jeff to use not more than $15,000 before relocation. The cost that is pre-
assumed is quite helpful in developing the project milestone plan and WBS list of the project.
Proper resources: It is assumed that the resources that is generally required for the
relocation of the family with all the belonging will be easily present and thus the family of

Jeff will not find any type of difficulty in moving from Sunshine Coat, QLD to Perth. The
identification of proper resources is very much helpful in developing a proper milestone plan
as well as WBS list.

6. Details of all adjustment that is generally made in the schedule
The adjustments that are required to be done within the schedule of the project in
order to start the commencing of the new rental house by 20th January so that after vacating
the old house, Jeff can easily move to the new house. The adjustment that is generally done
within the schedule of the project is generally elaborated below:
Changes in the schedule: It is very much necessary to start commencing of the new
house before 20th January so that after vacating the old house in Sunshine Coast, Jeff can
easily move to the new house without facing problem. This change is quite necessary within
the schedule of the project as the last date for vacating the old house is 20th January however
the new house will be commenced by 27th January and as Jeff does not have any relative in
Sunshine coast, it is necessary to make the changes within the schedule.
Change in cost: It is found that the changes which are generally needed within the
schedule can generally enhance the budget of the project. It is found that the changes within
