Executive Summary
The report discusses about the various kind of impacts that are made through the use of different
kind of projects within Mawson Zoo. The organisation has undertaken several kind of measures
in order to define and implement certain kind of projects, which would be able to bring in
changes towards the organisation. The company had undertaken several form of projects based
on technical expertise but these projects were not able to bring in better forms of impacts as these
projects were delivered not within a proper budget and within time. In the discussion supported
within the project the discussion is mainly focused over the theories in relation to project
management. Based on the discussion over such theories, the recommendations would be put
forward that would be able to make a better impact towards the organisation. Hence, this report
focuses over the different kind of concepts in relation to project management that could be
applied to the concerned project approaches. The use of such kind of concepts would include the
different roles of team members, standardisation of project methodologies, maintaining of
project performance and integrating project processes within the organisation. After the
discussion over the concepts in relation to better management of project scenarios, the proposal
also discusses about the staged implementation schedule in relation to the concepts that have
been defined for the project. With the help of staged implementation schedule, the discussion is
focused over defining those plans based within the context of the organisation and focusing over
future benefits towards the organisation.

1. Introduction
Mawson Zoo can be classified as fictitious organisation. The zoo organisation has their
primary aims to discover, understand and define new ways of improvement of their business
strategies and thus implement better kind of procedures within the market that would also help in
benefiting the organisational structure. The vision of the company is based on providing the
sanctuary with the wide range of diversity in the number of species of animals and birds. The
organisation also performs research in different activities that would be based on discovering
new ways in which they could keep their habitats in a secure condition.
The discussion in this research would focus over the Memorandum of Engagement based
on improving conditions over the project. In the recent years, there have been several kind of
projects that have been undertaken by the Mawson Zoo based on bringing better kind of impacts
towards the organisation and the habitats (Hassan 2015). The organisation has also made
extensive use of technical expertise that were highly significant towards the entire growth of
habitat species. However, from the reports gathered from the recent past years, it has been seen
that the total time of delivery and budget estimations of the projects have declined. The proposal
helps in describing certain recommendations and implementation of high concepts for
implementing within the project.
2. Discussion
2.1 Accountability and responsibility in project management
The discussion is focused over the strategy based on the development of new forms of
direction for Mawson Zoo. A certain amount of focus would also be provided towards the
conversation of natural habitats and species of animals and birds. different kind of experiences

are gathered from the defining of new projects, defining new plans and strategies based on
helping in saving wildlife and different forms of natural habitats (Too and Weaver 2014). With
the help of different kind of projects that have been planned for Mawson Zoo, it could be
understood that such kind of projects would prove to be highly helpful for incorporating ideas in
relation to the benefits for the zoo. Based on help in such kind of projects, it would also be
helpful for delivering tangible, measurable and valuable outcomes based on conservation of the
habitats.
The use of best form of project management methodologies would be widely used for
taking a proper form of responsibility and accountability of the various kind of projects that are
designed. The core purpose of the discussion is to perform a deep level of research within the
researches based on project management within the different aspects of project made within
Mawson Zoo. According to the context of supporting the factor of accountability within the
various projects, it could be understood there should be certain form of definition of the specific
roles (Badewi and Shehab 2016). Based on the specific details of the roles, each of the persons
accountable for performing the certain task would perform them with proper level of diligency.
In case of any form of inconsistent terminology of project management, the various roles in
relation to the people within the project would be able to cause certain form of considerable
consideration. A certain barrier would also arise in the forms of research that would be created
(Edwards and Hulme 2014). The Mawson Zoo is majorly responsible for defining certain kind of
projects that would help in the protection of various kind of natural habitats of animals and birds.
The management of the Mawson Zoo organisation should take the certain form of
initiative based on providing a certain level of definition of roles and responsibilities to each of
the persons involved with the design aspects of the project. In relation to the current projects that

define the specific roles and the accountable positions that would be held by them. The roles
assigned to each of the team members involved within certain projects would be helpful for
performing different kind of functions that would be performed by the defined projects of the
organisation.
A project manager would be necessary for incurring within the project management body
who would hold responsibility for managing each of the requirements in relation to the project. A
certain list of functions would be performed within the project that would certainly help the
organisation to perform better within the highly competitive market (Lloyd-Walker, Mills and
Walker 2014). Certain functions and projects that are performed within the Mawson Zoo are the
maintenance of activities based on engaging the exhibits of animals, ensure proper form of
public facilities that would be provided during their visit to the zoo and maintenance of gardens.
A proper maintaining of the infrastructure of the garden would also be need to be maintained.
The management team within the organisation also holds responsibility to implement certain
form of educational programs, research programs and wildlife treatment educational activities
that would further help in bringing new customers and educate them in relation to the aspects of
